Hello chris, I was wondering if it were possible to do a quick tip on varnishes. I have been wanting to varnish my models but im not too sure on how to use them. Thanks for all the tips you've done recently they really helped me out!
Detol or Simple Green - soak them overnight and then scrub the paint off. Loads of info on the net about it, google it for more info. I've never had any problems using those methods (just make sure you wear gloves).
Yeah, acetone works really good for metals but will melt the plastics like you said. Brake fluid works good for plastics but please be extra carefull with the handling. That stuff is toxic and doesn't mess around. Better go for Simple Green instead.
I used it just fine. It unevenly strips paint where it does work and only ruins paint where it doesn't. Dettol on the other hand completely strips the model without damaging it.
Google it. Some people suggest soaking your miniatures in brown soap or dettol for at least a day, and then using an old toothbrush to scrub off the old paint. I've had great success using Sprit, I don't actually know what it's called in English (it's a household cleaning alcohol). I'll soak my plastic miniatures in it for a day or longer, then give them a scrub (wear gloves). Stripped a land raider this way. Always do a test on a single miniature 1st, just in case wtv you use melts the plastic.
Hey kris, thanks for the tip. This helps me a lot with my new dark angels army I just started up. Much love. Could I get a vid about painting helmet less faces. I got some scouts I want to finish up but they never seem to come out looking "human" I know this would help out the chaos and Tao players to. (Though why you would want to is beyond me ;)
Thanks for cool tips. :-) And I've got a question, do you know of any ACRYLIC mediums to quick dip-painting? I know Armypainter got some mediums (called Quickshade), but they are polyurethane, not acrylic.
Hey yo wondering how you paint lettering that is sunk into a model like the words on the legs of grey knights without blotting out the letters. and also how to make metallics pop. either gold lettering or silver armor/weapons.
hey. when i work with light colours, the edges of the miniature always get torn down back to the primer, leaving a bad impression of a work done wrong. I always work on a paper towel, and take great care not to scratch or have the minis rolling around, but it still happens a lot! any ideas wtf, and how to prevent it ?
I hate this warhammer crap! At this moment you lost 1 subscriber. I subscribed because of a few cool videos about airfix kits and miniature terrains for your kits. This sucks. - 1 subscriber!
I don't play anymore (nobody here plays WH40k where i live). But these videos make me wanna buy some models and just paint them for fun :)
These videos were my gateway into ASMR

Can you do one on how to strip paint off s model so I can repaint it? Cheers
Simple green man.
Dettol anti bacterial sanitizer, expensive but it works. Simple green barely works if at all.
IronSquid501 simple Green works great and is non toxic. just because you couldn't figure out how to use it doesn't mean it doesn't work

This includes the spray paint so you can give it a new coat, since a lot of people in hot countries have problems with the primer
hey kris I was wondering if you would be able to do a quick tip on how to create a nurgles rot like effect on chaos space marines

Hey Kris, Ive recently come into a few minis that aren't painted so well. How would you strip it?
Does anyone know how to paint face paint onto a model? like a skull pattern that looks like worn face paint or war paint?
apparently sprit is denatured ethanol, whatever that means.
good luck!
