On top of all the benefits listed in the video i think running costs and ease of use is also a massive pro. 2-stroke are expensive af to run and are such a struggle to get running well. I think this could make it possible for more people to compete in karting and up the motorsport ladder from there

Good job Rotax. That looks like one hell of a kart. Would love to take one out.

Yes, good stuff. Quanta? Increased weight is that a safety concern? How is tire wear on these?

Satisfying video for fans, but not for technical geeks. Was hoping for more technical details... about inverter, BMS type, drivetrain opened and shown, charging, etc..

What are the specs? Battery life and what kind of motor? There is a big go kart race at Purdue, and they briefly had an electric go-kart race in it. It didn't do too well, but I am looking at trying to bring it back. Would you be open to an exploratory call?

You ever been on a supercharged 4-stroke? It's much better than 2-stroke.

Supercharged? I don’t think kart engines can handle a supercharger.

Date? Price? I think it is a real opportunity for all lovers of racing who can’t do it because of the high cost of thermic motorisation

For all the benefits it's curious why it's taken so long time to get this to the consumer market. Is rotax dead on the vine?

Still no updates to anything e-kart. I assume there's too much $$$ invested in the stinky 2 stroke biz.

Sweden is having its first offical swedish championship in ekart using these karts this weekend. We are getting closer and closer to these being for sale. Cant wait to get rid of the $800 engine services every 15 hours on 2-strokes

So you hate making racing affordable and also having 35 hp all the time istead of a tiny rpm window? What an utterly stupid comment. You dont need to like it but why spam puke emojis? The only thing they do is represent your personality. Also name 1 thing except sound which is better with a 2-stroke engine😂
