genuine break issue when break has been applied continuously 4-5 times , it gets locked and pedal gets stiff.

In petrol engines, brakes work on the vacuum created by engine manifold. This is the reason why you should not repeatedly pump brake pedal in engine off condition. If your brakes stop working in engine running condition, get your braking system thoroughly checked. It may be a brake booster malfunction, leakage anywhere in the system or brake fluid problem (multiple reasons). This is w.r.t. petrol engines only. For diesel engines, there is a separate vacuum pump.

I'm also facing the same problem in my Tata Punch AMT. It is a geniune issue. Even after reporting about this problem, the service center has not resolved it. I always keep my left hand on hand break to be on a safer side.

Is this a problem with amt or manual too? Cz I faced the same issue today after climbing a hill and keeping the brake padel on for 3-4 mins. The result was brake was not acting properly, was getting delayed.
But after I parked my car and come back after 2-3 hrs it was working properly however in reverse giving jerk.
Please let me know what are the issues could be

"Agar Engine start hai", aur brake 1 second k liye bhi kaam karna band karte h to ye bahut badi problem h. Isko theek karana important h. Agar workshop nhi sunta h to Tata customer care par baat karen ya workshop owner ko bataye. Problem ki video jaroor banaye taki aap proof kar sake ki ye dikkat aati h.

Bro my break padle got freezed while i was driving downwards hill twice. Breaks doesent work i should say properly. Its frightning while driving and facing the breaks pedal gets freezed problem. Its too dangerous. Common thing in both break pedals freezing condition were i was driving downhill and speed was very low.

Bro agar gaadi off hogi aur gaadi ke break apply karenge to break tight ho jata hai or jab engine start karte hai to wo wapas se free ho jata hai ye koi problem nhi hai bro aap koi bhi gaadi ke saath try Karo same hi cheez hogi. Lekin agar gaadi ka engine start krne ke baad aisa problem aata hai to aapko service center main dikhana chahiye.

@@SuperDev222 this is common issue with all punch. service centre guys also told me that ki punch ke handbrake aise he hai. nothing wrong. it's just made this way. lol

I have bought this car 7 moths ago "Tata punch Adventure AMT Cemo" and this my first every negative review, I have always wrote a happy review but not I start feeling negative about this car. I have faced the break issue when I take a u turn or in reverse mode, when my car is moving at the starting mode and when i take a complete right or left then my break becomes hard and the break is not applied. It is a very risky business, they have made the car safe but the break which is a most important part of the car and if that doesn't work when need then what's the use? I know accident happens is unfortunate which is not in our control but what if the controls of the this car is not responsive when needed then what will you call it unfortunate or coincidence? Im not happen with the car. Even the shock absorber are very hard, it's smooth on highways but it bangs my car on a hi speed when there is a pothole even on a hight speed or a normal city speed. I don't think ill be using this car for more then 3 years
