- Oh my goodness y'all! This was so much fun for me and I love the way it turned out. I have never really tried my hand at something meant to be spooky but this halloween season I am so full of ideas. I have some layered sounds added of bubbling brew and a crackling fire to set the mood for The Frightful Cafe. Welcome. Come in... if you dare.

I can't believe I'm back here again in April lol. I was scrolling thru your playlists and saw chalkboard playlist, and that reminded me of this video. I remember how I adored those fire crackling sounds mixed with gentle chalk board sounds. I still love it soo much!!! It's like something just drags me into this video and doesn't let me leave XD

When I was 4-9 yrs old and riding in the backseat of our large family car traveling 200 miles from our farm to the big city of St.Louis I would take my chalk board, my water colors with paper and coloring book, my finger puzzle (remember those with 25 numbers) and story books along. The sound of writing on a chalk board gave and still gives me an ASMR response. Thanks for another great video I can watch and listen to with my wireless headphones as I'm trying so desperately to become absorbed in your video and distracted from my pain. Tony.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Oh I feel like a child in a Five and Dime store waiting for your surprise 😊. So many of my play things came from there including my first toy trumpet ( In later years I would play trumpet professionally), and a lot of my Baseball Cards came from there. The St.Louis Cardinals were my favorite team. In 1967 & 68 I traded for and collected the entire major league collection the hard way by spending a nickel per package with 5 cards to a pack and a stick of bubble gum. Such great memories. I really enjoyed playing with my numbered finger slide puzzle ❤️🎵🎶🎺

So... what kind of things did you draw on your chalkboard when you took the trip with your dad? My imagination is failing me at this moment. What things did we draw on our chalkboards when we were little?
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction I remember early on like before ever attending school which was the 1st grade for me for there was no kindergarten then at my small school. I liked practicing my ABCs and my numbers. I also liked drawing trees with swings. I was fascinated with geometrical shapes especially cubes. I learned how to draw a cat from my mother. I could draw a simple farmhouse with a tree. I remember a couple of pictures I liked to draw and they evolved and got better with time. One was a house, our house, and our towering oak tree, our chicken house, and our barn. What made mine different than most was I sometimes would add storm clouds and a tornado. I was in so many tornadoes growing up. Around 3rd grade there was another scene I liked to draw that is quite appropriate with Halloween. I liked drawing all this on my chalkboard but I would use pencil and paper as well. So I liked drawing a cemetery scene. So it was a picture of a large oak tree that was on the left third of the board or page. There was a large bright moon in the high center. There was a grave with a tombstone underneath the oak tree at bottom center. Hanging from a low limb of the tree was a large spider web with one of those huge garden spiders hanging from a single silk strand from the web hanging over the tombstone. On the right side was more tombstones in a distance and high in the moon lit night sky were at least 2 ghosts sometimes more flying over the graves. But my ghosts weren't scary or mean. They were all happy playing with each other, laughing and frolicking ghosts. I drew my happy ghosts as looking like happy little clouds with happy faces. I remember drawing all that with my chalkboard and drawing on paper as well. So early on I practiced my ABCs and numbers and geometric shapes spheres balls boxes, cubes, . I just remembered I many times drew birds and especially owls. I would draw at least one owl sitting in that oak tree over the grave. I was crazy about owls and still am. We had so many owls around our farm especially barn owls and screech owls and Great Horned Owls. I know that's a lot but I have an unbelievable memory that goes way back to when I wore diapers and being in my crib. My memories have proven to be very accurate and reliable. I would also love to know the brand of the chalk. It shows up so nicely!
I discovered that whatever chalkboard you use this sort of pen on needs to be washed off with soap and water. Anything this consistency is not like regular chalk. But it came off quite easily with just a little bit of soap and water. I thought it would ruin the chalkboard but it didn't.

I don’t have any formal training with art. But I did get just a few tips and tricks from my mother who was an artist. Any bits of art that I create are copycat and natural ability.
Isn’t that ironic to go to school to learn art and then never draw anymore? But you have a good job, no doubt. Does a graphic artist still need to know how to draw?
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction i don’t typically need to draw as a graphic artist but do need a good eye for color, type, layout, composition etc. Drawing skill does come in handy for some projects though! Anyway, you are a very talented visual and ASMRtist! Thanks for sharing your creations with us ☺️

Im a restaurant visitor like a special guest who decides if you get michelin stars or not (idk what theyre called)
Watching you write your menu, bc you forgot to write/too lazy, takes an eternity, i try not to fall asleep bc its so relaxing.
At 22:20, you finished but didnt like it and i had to wait another 20 mins. But you just regretted erasing it because you couldn't think of anything else and you have super super memory so you just drew the same thing all over again. And i fell asleep.
After you were done, you decided to bring me to the kitchen then claw some of my boogers out to put in your burger.
Then i wokr up after a bit, you were cooking yhe hamboogers, and i gave you 3 michelin stars (best level i think) despite the fact you took too long bc it was relaxing. I knew the food was good just from the menu.

I wouldn't be too surprised if day of the dead and halloween have similar origins. To me, halloween is just purely entertainment. But there are many Christians who are very adamantly against halloween because of some of the negative aspects of it, spiritually speaking.

Omg this sounds better and it's more relaxing than it looks. The bubble sounds in the background remind me of the witch's cauldron 🧙♀️🧹so my school required 6th graders to make a game booth for Halloween fest at our school on 31 Oct 😭 it's gonna be a lot of work especially when I hate arts and crafts. I like computers.
If this cafe existed I'm gonna go in and get jumpscared by momo because when I was grade 3 I was so frightened of her and was paranoid every second I was alone until my mom put a picture of Jesus in my pencil case so I felt safe and all my fears of momo went away I felt stupid to be afraid of just a ugly looking doll tbh 😩. I just noticed there were words but the "thing one and thing two" 😭🤣🤣🤣. No offense this video is both hilarious and relaxing. And I rlly wanna see you draw more on the chalkboard I love when you draw it's so relaxing especially with fire crackling in the background 😍😍😍
