    Thanks so much for watching! Please support the video as I'd like to make more MCU content for you fellas! Also, HUGE thanks to YFV for helping out with this video!!
    Here's proof Asgard is harder to destroy than Earth (we know MCU is an universe in Marvel Comics btw) web.archive.org/web/20170319150147/marvel.com/universe/Asgard
    Also, regarding the Bifrost speed feat. I said Hela caught up to it.

    I see Thor as a character with tons of raw power and potential, but he’s such an emotional character that he doesn’t always channel that raw power. He lived with the same friends and families for centuries. His loved ones dying was something he didn’t have to worry about for centuries, and then almost everyone he loves dies in the span of a few years. That’s the equivalent to a normal human losing everyone in a matter of weeks. That trauma sometimes hinders him from fighting to his full potential, and that’s why his feats seem inconsistent sometimes. That’s my head canon reason for why the writers make him job out for the sake of the plot lol.

      Also think back to one of his dream sequences in Age of Ultron, Thor may be holding back his immense power due to his fear of killing everyone with it on accident.

      It doesn't make any sense at all though.
      In the first Thor film Odin enchanted/ensorcelled Mjolnir to essentially channel "the power of Thor" for whoever is worthy enough to wield it.
      This did not happen with Stormbreaker, it was made solely for Thor's use and he lacks the skillset to make Stormbreaker do otherwise as Odin might have.
      Ergo in Cap's hands it is just a hammer/axe made of a mystical metal, and nothing else.

    Finally someone who understands how power scaling works exactly. Just because a character hasn’t blown a planet doesn’t mean they can’t a lot of people downplay naruto too because he hasn’t blown up a planet. However we might see some planet busting in MCU since we already have a galaxy in MCU through What if so that’s good.

      Gorr did in the trailer

    • @decimation9780
      @decimation9780 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s because Naruto himself isn’t planetary. Sure, when all of his chakra got yoinked, it nearly blew up a moon, but you’re ignoring the fact that it took _all of his chakra to do that._ Plus if you use all of your chakra, you end up kicking the bucket, like Might Guy did, right up until Naruto brought him back to life with plot convenience powers. Thor on the other hand has been shown to be a pretty casual planet buster though, maybe not the MCU version, which has been stated to just be a weaker version of the Earth-616 Thor, who can probably bust a planet if he decides to completely cut loose without any regard to anyone, but he’s not at the level where his clashing with an equal foe will destroy the entire solar system he’s in just as a byproduct of him trading blows.

    There are some problems here
    1.Thanos just used an energy blast to stop stormbreaker while the stormbreaker is ironically a massively energy absorbant weapon, it is likely that the space stone could have stopped stormbreaker and the reality stone could’ve changed it into bubbles.
    2. Thanos is still a mortal and was never able to use the gauntlet at full power due to that much gamma harming him, while Infinity Ultron being a robot was able to take the energy at full compacity

  • @user-re3nr9fd6f

    2:08 Another thing to mention is that the BiFrost moved multiple stars which is easily Star level. And the 9 realms and planets in the MCU scale above planets irl. The Grandmaster’s planet no sold having multiple wormholes on its surface, including one containing a Magnetar. 9 realms are stated to be multi dimensional. 9 realms can tank the BiFrost hitting it, and the BiFrost is mftl +. 3:03 exactly good job. 3:39 you should also mention how, Mjolir no sold a super nova. And Hela destroyed that same Mjolir, Hela was on Asgard for days and it’s stated by Odin that her power grows limitlessly. Thor when after awakening his power knocked out that same Hela in one shot and she was out for multiple minutes. And now with Stormbreaker Thor is even more powerful. 4:00 also Tesseract didn’t break when the space stone outputted energy to fix the Rainbow bridge which could contain the energy of the Bifrost which is planet-Star. Yet it still didn’t survive Thanos crushing it. 6:18 it was actually stated to be a Magnetar in an official guidebook. 6:52 Drax was going to get one shotted by Iron Man. Same Drax that tanked a ship that did more damage to the hadron enforcer then Ronan. Thor >>>>>> Iron Man. 7:26 exactly. 10:12 also Iron Man without the suit reacted to his repulsers which are stated to be beams of light. 11:10 another thing to mention is he is being hit with these shards which are moving at mftl + speeds. This feat is calculated at Large Star to solar. 11:27 this is also consistent with Thor reacting to a beam of light from the IG, which is calculated at mftl +.

He, on several occassions, has run down Silver Surfer while the Surfer is cruising at >1000 Light Years /second, and was 10,000x FTL), while carrying the weight of a large asteroid. I almost completely agree with this except for the fact that Thor as of Ragnarok or even Infinity War has surpassed Odin. By scaling, Odin is still much beyond Thor as he was able to overpower and contain Hela and defeated Eternal Flame Surtur- both of whom are much above Thor as of right now. Via statements, Odin is several tiers above everyone in the MCU except the Celestials, Ego, and IG Thanos. He is stated to be capable of destroying entire armies with a thought, stripped Thor of all his powers with ease, was stated to be capable of killing Malekith and Kurse all at once, formed stars out of Frigga's corpse, and commands the Odinforce which is the power source of all of Asgard including the Bifrost which is capable of planet-busting.
    While Odin did state that Thor is stronger than him, that statement could very well mean the fact that Thor is potentially more powerful than Odin (which is not surprising at all) but he still has a long way to go.

    • @oscarsoderstrom3896
      @oscarsoderstrom3896 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly, the older the Asgardian are the more powerful they are. Both Odin and Hela had more control over mjolnir when they faced, same would happen with stormbreaker.
      For me it sounded more like an motivational speech than potential etc, like Thor didn't do the same mistakes as Odin did and so on.

    • @Johncornwell103
      @Johncornwell103 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think Odin IS THE most powerful character in the MCU.
      Dude literally treats death like a joke.
      I mean he is dead but still talks to Thor, can summon the bifrost to send Hulk to Earth at Heimdall's request.
      He also made literally EVERY ASGARDIAN TO FORGET HELA.
      Hela isn't even that old by Asgardian standards either.
      She is probably meant to o be the equivalent of a person in their 40s.
      Pretty sure there is Asgardians older than that.

    The Bifrost is an einstein-rosen bridge according to thor 1, ie, a wormhole that works by reducing the space between the starting point and the destination using massive amounts of energy. In other words, you do not need to be faster than light at all to be able to fight inside the bifrost, since you are not locally moving at those speeds. In Dark World, even Jane Foster was able to look around and see what was going on during her ride to Asgard on the Bifrost.
    obviously he has other feats which seem to be FTL such as reacting to light beams and snatching loki out of a black hole, as you mentioned, i just think the bifrost speed feat is a little flimsy. Hela did catch up to thor in the bifrost but again that doesn't really mean anything since she was, you know, also riding the bifrost. also if thor were faster than the bifrost he wouldn't need it to travel around to begin with lol.

    • @user-re3nr9fd6f
      @user-re3nr9fd6f 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s no proof it works like an Einstein Rosen bridge at all, so even if Thor said that( which he didn’t you totally misinterpreted what he said Jane said that and Thor corrected her with “Rainbow bridge) it’s contradicted. It works like a tractor beam which has a pull.

    And here I was thinking mcu Thor was country level. Also, I did the math and found out that Thor is 24 in God years. Seems legit
    Edit: I wouldn’t say Thor has MFTL reaction speed because he was able to fight in the Bifrost. That’s kind of like saying humans have supersonic reaction speed because they can fight in fighter jets. Reaction speed isn’t based on how fast the object you can catch is, it’s about how much time you need to catch that object. Think about it this way: If a professional baseball player pitched a ball at 40 m/s 4 meters away, you would have 1\10th of a second to react so it would likely hit you in the face. If that baseball player was 40 meters away and pitched at the exact same speed, then you would have a full second to react and catch it (hopefully). While the Bifrost can travel galaxies in moments, Asgard is likely VERY far away from earth. Meaning the idea of the trip taking seconds or even minutes is probable. So the feat could show superhuman reaction speed at it’s highest or the battle could be understood by a normal human at lowest.

    You actually UNDERRATED him. Is he the strongest and most powerful Avenger? YES. No if, ands, or buts about it. Even the Scarlet Witch wasn’t able to take him down with her vast magics and she’s the ONLY threat to him on the Avengers. Hulk is not as strong as Thor. Ragnarok even proved that for MCU Thor as well.

    Frame of reference is important.
    The Bifrost has a travel speed, not unlike riding a train or a plane. The Bifrost makes travel across realms possible. Catching up to someone while also inside of the Bifrost is like running up to someone on a plane who is also on that same plane. This doesn't make me the speed of a commercial jet if I do that, nor does this make anyone within the Bifrost as fast as the Bifrost (or they wouldn't need it for travel).

      We see Hela catch up to the Bifrost though off her own accord/flight.

      @@Chuck They have plenty of speed feats to choose from, the Bifrost just isn't one of them. Also, the train scene from Captain Marvel isn't one, either. Seriously, once in the Bifrost, that provides its own reference frame, kind of like each of us isn't planetary travel speeds, yet we are on the planet which moves at around 67,000 mph and the fastest human on Earth can only travel around 24 mph. This doesn't mean that the human is actually going 67,024 mph; It means that the human is within a reference frame (on the planet) going 24 mph, and it doesn't mean that human is planetary speeds, either.

      @@drunknpoet No the Bifrost scaling is still valid, it's just that people scale it incorrectly. The Bifrost is stated to work like a tractor beam on the official marvel website, meaning it pulls things towards it, at MFTL+ speeds in this case. Loki was able to throw his knife towards Hela, who was behind him, giving him MFTL+ combat speed since in order for the knife to travel behind him it would've needed to move fast enought to resist the pull of the bifrost. Hela was able to react to the knife throw giving her MFTL+ reaction speed, and Thor is comparable to Hela and Loki, giving Thor MFTL+ reaction and combat speed.

      @@justinsarfo829 That isn't how Inertial Frames of Reference work, at all. That is the same as saying that if you are in a biplane, and you throw a knife, that said knife was thrown by your power alone. It was not. You borrow the speed of your inertial reference frame, because of conservation of momentum. This is just physics inertia 101. Loki throws at the speed while standing still that he does while existing within the bifrost, the bifrost adds its momentum. Another example would be someone standing still on an escalator, and some other person running up the escalator. That doesn't make that second person's top speed any faster, it makes them move faster relative to the people who aren't running on an escalator. The person on the escalator is going backwards compared to the person who is riding in that biplane (from the first example), because of inertial reference frames. The same holds true here.
