Reading these comments I realized how crazy ppl are for pokemon cards. I spent $96.88 for 30 packs and I thought that was already to much. Good video tho.
@@mustardwithglasses6508 Thank you! People love their hobbies lol whether it’s Pokemon, Magic, or Yu-Gi- Oh lol if I could spend more I would but I can’t afford it lol
@@ShyIsland1 No not really! Mostly because I try to complete the sets and I haven’t completed not a single one lol so when I open packs, it’s more of what do I need versus what do I want
I slowed down on opening packs right now, trying to get a rental property or a small business started within the next 5 years if I start buying I start spending like crazy lol
@@Nemo504Phenomenal I spend on a budget and I try very hard to stay on that budget lol. Love that for you. Wish I could start something like that soon but I’m focusing on debt right now and then I’ll start with that
@@estherdubois1586 Thank you! I’m excited for it but also nervous because of the comments I’ve been hearing about it lol I ordered 2 Terapagos UPCs the Greninja wasn’t as good as I would have liked it. But I might end up opening one at some point I bet lol
Nice Frosmoth pull! Trainer galleries are some of my favorites. I’m getting back into collecting over the last few months and could use some tips on paying for all this. I know it can get pricey, how do you budget for yours?
@@Anime9308 Thank you! Yes they are so nice and was a good add to the collections. I budget my entire paycheck. So listing out my bills and then allot an amount for groceries, gas, etc. so I pretty much started with $120 every two weeks and I haven’t changed it since but I also have spending money for the two weeks too which can help also if I don’t have my eyes on something else. But collecting cards is $120 for 2 weeks, not a lot but what I can afford comfortably right now
I would take $20,000 out my investment account January or February but really trying to retire early by 42 have to stay on track and invest it in Pokémon or packs but it would be sealed product and I would end up opening it, last time I took $10,000 out one of my investment accounts I bought all packs and only pulled 5.8k worth so it wasn’t worth it I should of kept it sealed it was very happy opening them lol Reason why I buy the PSA 10 cards I want now.
Yea I do not have that kind of money lol and yea don’t touch it especially for Pokémon cards! I mean you made a little more than half back but yea I couldn’t even pull myself to spend all that money solely on Pokemon cards unless I had a shop lol
@@neishaspokemon2452 that was my goal but I don’t know where cards will be in the future, that’s why I would rather like a rental or a second home. Also I don’t like touching the investment accounts I like it to snowball and collect passive income every month from them. Reason why I was only buying the stuff on sale at Walmart when they had it when I started spending $100 a day the previous weeks I was like that $100 a day could be used to make me a $1 a month and that’ll give me a $1 raise a month then it starts to get bigger and bigger overtime. My goal was to open a shop but idk what the future holds most card shops closed around here maybe only have 2 now and they relocated to a small location it was 3x bigger I’m focused on retiring early to have a peace of mind and have more time to spend with the people I love in the future, can’t be working until 70. Because I’m sure they will move the retirement age up to 70 eventually if I work that long I’ll be dead before then
So many cool packs!!!
