Super explanation, just thinking of a calc, 20K kms, 9kmpl @100rs/litre costs(for 7yrs)= 2.22lacs for fuel, depreciation for 7yrs 10lacs approx, maintenance and insurance costs 3.1lacs for 7yrs (15000x7yrs=1.05lacs, insurance 30k/yr=2.1lacs), so 15.32 lacs for running 20k kms= 76.6Rs/Km is running cost. (not counting interest on loan). Car is a serious cash burning machine.
We should not see all these calculations for premium segment car ...!Just only see the comfort ,safety and style.

Apply rule of thumb. Car value should be equivalent to your 6 month's income / salary.
If you stick to the this thumb rule, you won't feel the pinch largely, provided your overall EMIs doesn't cross 40% of your take home salary.

Guys, don't purchase hector 1.5 turbo. Worst mileage its getting 7 or 8 KM. Hector major issue is dimension of width is less compare to length. It's gives body roll while Cornering and cluth pedal is very hard. Harrier is the best and VFM.
Harrier 's clutch also hard 😂

If you test the cars performance obviously you will get less only. Try to maintain avg 70Km/h in city you will get above 10 KM and in highway with cruise control you will get 15KM.
