She only is filmed doing a tiny bit before it changes to the next scene. The second thing is she is probably getting paid little to nothing, but it might be all she has. Unbelievable how many of you on here believe that one single person is building all of this stuff and they don't even live in it at the end. People are so easy to fool since most of you are believe in fantasy instead of reality.

Building the simplest things on the channel would require weeks of hard work with modern tools and help from other people -- doesn't matter at all what gender the builders are.
She's from a village, so unlike western culture, the whole village is her family, and I'm willing to bet these videos are a collaboration that helps the whole village.

I have such admiration and respect for her. She truly is unique and impressive. What she does can put construction workers to shame. They use a crew. She does this all by herself! What a hard worker and so talented. She does this by using her surroundings and earthly knowledge to create and build. What a woman!
Give respect where it's due. This is definitely great and interesting however that doesn't disqualify or compete with typical construction work, no shame there. This won't hold up to a tsunami like many current structures would, nor would this fair well with a big tree falling on it. Not to mention modern buildings are built to support hundreds of thousands of tons- which also don't rot away.

@Landa H. Those people were taught those skills from infancy which is why she's so good at it now; skills & knowledge passed down from gen to gen. Obviously she decided to build her own dwelling place and she'll pass the same knowledge on to her offspring.

Amazing, just amazing. The house looks nicer than my apartment, and the raw materials probaby costs less than my one-month rent.
All the materials were actually free. Even fish was free and the gas to cook it. Also, building the house was not a labour. It is just her hobby out of boredom.

The video is 17 plus minutes long. Y'all realize it takes possibly months to build a house like she's building. A video like this is educational, pay attention, it could be any one of us having to build an emergency shelter for any reason.

Cameras need their batteries charged. There is power somewhere and wherever it's at, so is the people that helped construct this. It's awesome, but she didn't do it alone.

I would love to learn from her how to do this (if I wasn’t so old and rickety!) She obviously has lots of experience and is talented, but I think that’s true of lots of people from Central and South America and Asia and the Philippines. Mainly anywhere that requires learning what’s around you and using that for your daily life. We spent a couple months in South America not too long ago away from a lot of the touristy stuff and saw many people using resources around them just like this. She’s amazing!
