- "The Talk" has extended its hiatus amid new allegations made against Sharon Osbourne. Former co-host Leah Remini accused Osbourne of using racially charged language to describe at least one other woman on the show. Remini, who co-hosted the show for one season in 2010, told journalist Yashar Ali that Osbourne used racial slurs to refer to former co-host Julie Chen, who is Chinese American, and homophobic language about former co-host Sara Gilbert, who is gay. #InsideEdition

I don't see any difference between that racist remark and the president (Biden) talking about being able to quarantine because "a black woman kept the grocery shelves stocked"...relegating any one race to a specific profession is racist and his quote was said recently!

@@sassycat6487 I don't think it was her being *nasty*, moreso of her perception of them. She regularly saw them in such roles from her experience with them, so she positioned them for those roles. I don't think malicious was in it at all, but poor word choice. If she said something like construction or a more blue collar job the comment probably wouldn't have come down as bad of racist seeming...

She was making a point that Trump wants to clamp down on illegal immigration, which is likely where lots of his lower-end workers come from. I suppose she couldve rephrased it as “Who is going to replace the Mexican workers you hire?” but it was a spur of the moment comment with good intentions. Only in our absolutely absurd society could it be considered so horrible a statement.
