i know im late af to the party, but if i had to guess, cars arent fire resistant nor are they anywhere close to "heavy duty" enough to cool themselves. id guess the engine block is out due to overheat and failing/ tires melted away rendering it unusable.....fires are incredibly hot and hot pavement alone can melt tires.
People take note to the WHITE flames you see a lot of with these fires & lookup what temperature range that is !!! It's some of the hottest !! Usually you need a kiln with forced air & insulated walls & an enclosure to get that hot !! But here just like Hawaii we saw White flames in wide open spaces !! Something isn't right here
