  • Change the daily recorded data to monthly and yearly. This is use full to know the yearly, daily and monthly data recorded relationship and to develop a trend for the future recorded data.

    How to change the hourly data to three hourly data ??

    Dear, the daily rainfall data of 4 stations are given for more than 25 years and some values are missed, the stations are selected to be near the project area, my question is that: 1. there is no data given describing the catchment area to calculate the areal rainfall. 2. among the stations which one is taken to be used for design?

      You can easly get the DEM and develope Theissenpolygone.....then areal point rain fall. If you have countour again you can use isohytal method

      To develop areal point rainfall, you can use average mean method, Theisen polygon method and iso-hyetal method. For the 2nd and 3rd you need to have DEM for your study area and the latitude, longitude and elevation for your stations. If this use GIS and develop
      If not select the near site to your study area, based on the number of meteorological station you needs to use/ required for your work.
