    Sir, I never comment on TH-cam videos. However I just wanted to say this has been the most helpful no-BS video I have watched in a long time. The value in this video is insane. You've managed to teach me something in 13 minutes that my university professors were barely able to teach me in 4 years. As a mainly frontend Dev looking to become Full-Stack, I now have an actual understanding of the backend architecture that was so unclear from other learning sources. I honestly want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gained a subscriber.

      Wow thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a nice comment! 😄 your support is really valuable to me and you can be sure it motivates me to continue sharing what I've learned. There is a lot more to backend of course, but once you understand some of the bigger overall ideas behind the technologies, I think it will be easier for you to get more into the details. You got this!

But this is by far the most no bs, to the point, clean practical explanation I have seen. I know a lot of these elements but I am finally able to visualize them interact with one another like how I would understand the working of a car when I inspect the car and it’s internals physically. I've learned from this single video alone, everything I've already learn, which took me a duration of over a year and a half, plus and a lot extra within a space of 10minz. I love how you have consolidated all essential areas of the backend with how they relate into one simplistic video.
    How this video was delivered, would make even a person who lacks interest or even bother to attemp to learn areas in this space, instantly obtain the knowlegde regardless. 😂

    The college had taught us the fundamental theory and program coding, but most of us had no idea how the thing worked. How do they combine all kinds of tools together? (most likely designing a website in localhost or creating a console school library) How do they combine the code and tools together? We got no idea how they communicate from website server to database server. This video clearly shows the entire process in such a simple way. It can't be denied that this channel will gain more subscribers in the future.

    Not every backend typically uses a lot of packages. JS specifically uses NPM as a package manager, and yes, if you use JS as a backend, you will have a TON of packages. If you use PHP as your backend language, however, you may only have a few external packages.

    • @SuperSimpleDev
      @SuperSimpleDev  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That’s a really good question! And something I’ve wondered about when I started. The short answer is: yes, this has been happening ever since this industry existed (jobs become obsolete because of new & better technology). The long answer is: they’re probably exaggerating in that ad. If you keep up with the latest technologies (or just become a manager after a few years) it won’t affect you that much and salaries will keep going up and up. But I’ll think more about it and share my opinion in a video 😄 thanks for the suggestion

      Low code / no code is like reducing your vocabulary. You're not going to describe complex concepts with a 5 year old's vocabulary.

    This video is absolutely amazing, there are so many key topics discussed here that other tutorial videos often use and make sounds like advanced buzzwords but you break down each one seamlessly so that anyone at any level or stage in their development career can understand👏absolutely amazingly done! I’ve learned more from you in 12 mins than I have hundreds of other videos.

    I'm completely new to web development and i need to learn backend for my personal project. this is by far the best video i've come across that explains what backend development is. I always need a story to make sense of any new concept, everything is connected, very easy to understand. I think i learned about cloud computing once but i can not understand what it even means until now omg you make it so easy to understand

    I think this is a very informative and good video. Sadly, the fact that PHP wasn't mentioned in the backend programming languages @ 1:30 bothers me a bit. It's still to this date the most commonly used server-side programming language.

      If you asked me what are the worst languages to use on the backend that would actually be the list. please don't use JS or Python on the back-end. Go and PHP are better choices and this is looking at it only from a performance perspective. If there was a viable alternative to JS on the front end no one would use it, don't force new team members to have to use it on the backend :| I'm begging you.

      Thanks for your thoughts! The video is for beginners and most people start with JS or Python these days, so it's a little easier for them to relate if it's a language they already know

    I came across this video today while I was watching Trump’s speech, and it just drew me in. I’ve been in this industry for over five years, so I’m pretty familiar with the content, but seeing how others approach it is always valuable. And wow, I was not disappointed-your way of explaining things is just incredible. Even though I knew most of the info already, the way you teach it made it feel fresh and engaging. I had to subscribe right away; this channel is a gem!
