I wrap vehicles for a living....just wrapped one and had it delivered today! The trim on your door was damaged by the installation of the wrap 😬 i didnt damage one doing my install, but i could totally see how it could get damaged if not carefully put back on. I used some lube and slid it back on.... Giggity!

Well it doesn’t do good in water. Saw a story yesterday about someone washing their cyber truck at a car wash and it wouldn’t do anything after that. The dash wouldn’t even come on.

I'll be picking one up in a few weeks. First vehicle I've been excited about in over thirty years. Love the stainless construction, no rust or dents to worry about. I haul lots of stuff, but don't tow, so it will work for me just fine.
You can tow. It maybe only 100-150miles with a rv but sometimes that's enough. Then you get free charging at a plug-in camp site. While your diesel maybe $100-200 just in fuel.

American trucks are getting bigger because the emissions regulations were lobbied to be written as a limit on emissions in relation to overall size of the vehicle, that way instead of lowering the actual emission, they made the vehicle bigger so they are permitted higher output same engine.
Please put the boggers or any Chevy wheels you have laying around on it since the lug pattern is the same

Trucks don't legally require functional middle rear view mirrors.
Think about any truck that is moving tall things in/on the bed, or imagine a loaded box truck, etc, none of these have functional rear view mirrors

Glad to see you finally came to your senses. It will never out perform an F350 6.7, or Any other diesel truck, but it’s a great daily driver truck for the common suburbanite. Wait till you realize how much you like not having to go to the gas station or oil changes. I was skeptical too until my wife bought a Model Y. I love driving it. It’s fast, and full self driving has come a long way, so there are days I just let it drive. This is where you won’t get bored my friend. Enjoy!

When you drop the battery pack in that truck the front seats go along with it they are bolted to the battery pack

Always have the key. Definitely don't rely solely on your phone. I rented a model Y 2 years ago and didn't have the key, so I had to use my phone. The phone works fine, unless you're in an area that doesn't have cell service. I unknowingly parked in a dead zone and couldn't start the vehicle. I had to run around to find a Wi-Fi signal to get it started.
It would be nice to hear the drive without any background music. Love the black color. Still not an EV fan either but the perks & options they have are nice & cool.

The rear view mirror displays on the center screen. Just have to select the option. The all black scheme looks way better.
For someone that only needs a light duty pickup, the Cybertrucks steering, fastest truck you can buy and over 90 MPG make it the top light duty pickup IMO.

I love the black wrap. Feels very stealth fighter. If any vehicle ever had a "unique identity" it's the Cybertruck. I love the pop and gurgle of a gas engine as much as anyone, but I'm not sure that lack of engine sound or kickdown equates with the vehicle lacking "soul."
It seems like such a dangerous vehicle to drive with so much power and weight. I also see people raising these to give them the stance in the conceptual images of the truck (it looks so much better that way) and when you raise this mass of weight but keep the power the same, it's a recipe for disaster. This is the mass of two normal vehicles after all. But people aren't buying these for exceptional build quality or safety. The novelty is what they're going for and it has that box ticked for sure.

Welcome to the dark side. On the fence with buying a Model Y, a year later and ~16,000 miles, I love it. It’s like a big Golf R that can fit my mountain bike with its front tire still attached. I still own a vehicle with a 6 speed manual, and like that too. But I’ve grown fond of the Tesla.
Think about it, you can buy both of those trucks for that one cyber truck so is it really worth it?

You don't have to have a rear view mirror if it has both side mirrors. Think of box trucks or even vans with no rear windows.
I think it's different and kinda cool. I was just wondering about range and recharging. Might be a challenge on a long trip, but kinda cool if you have a place to recharge overnight
Range on road trips is reportedly (from users) to be around 230 miles between charges. If towing, it goes down to ~120 depending on load.
If you are interested, Out of Spec Motoring raced a Cybertruck from ocean to ocean against other EV trucks.

I think it would be to get it silver unwrapped the paint the whole car in the bed liner paint, sure it tougher than a wrap.
This would actually be a perfect candidate for someone learning how to wrap, them straight panels would be a breeze compared to any normal car.
Personally, my only complaints about the Cybertruck is no stocks and no dash screen, give it stocks like the last gen Model 3 or the Model Y and the dash screen from the Model S and X
I’m in the same boat, it’s cool but it’s hideous. The black wrap is awesome and the body lines look downright lethal. I’m not too sure how I feel about it. It’s giving me some wiper envy. 17:28 I didn’t forget. The GMC is beautiful.

I'm not an EV guy either but I am interested in the soon to be out Silverado RST EV. It looks like the old Avalanche. Supposedly going to have 700HP and get more than 300miles.
