I never understood why she was so infatuated with him, especially since he has so many obvious red flags that she just blatantly ignores. Not to mention he’s very patronising towards her as well.
I feel like he is more of someone always acting the opposite of ehat he felt. We can see that before his injury it was hard to read him but we could still tell he was kind and only seemed to like getting a ruse out of people teasingly or so ir they were close, but once he got injured he became the opposite and closed off. Perhaps chizuru is well liked by him with all the times she tried to help him, even if he reacted out of pain from his trauma and situation, since theres moments we can see he cares about her (but also because sannan is known to seem to like control and have some power, perhaps trying to gauge and test chizuru to see to what extent she is true to her actions or how her someone could manipulate her ?)

Sannan is very complex for me. I can't analyze his character and can't say anything about his feelings or thoughts for Chizuru.
