This time, I went on Omegle. And I spoke 16 languages and shocked foreign people!
Currently, I speak 10 languages, which I studied properly. These are English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Indonesian, Russian, Hindi, German, Turkish, and Chinese. Apart from that, I speak Japanese for sure, which is my native language.
Furthermore, I know a tiny bit of Italian, Swedish, Polish, Romanian, Farsi, Swahili, Tagalog, Burmese, Thai, Geogian, Finnish, Uzbek, Kazakh and Bengali!
Of course, my skills of these languages are still far from sufficient.
The thing I value the most, however, is the attitude to trying to know their culture.
Interacting with people from different background is an eye-opening experience and that makes me really happy.
I wanna inspire people to learn different languages.

Great video as always! So nice to hear you trying to speak Polish, it is really difficult with the pronunciation. What the girls said about learning languages at school is partly true, because in the majority of schools you can choose a different language to learn, not only German. Also we don't actually learn Polish as a language, more like culture wise (in the primary school we learn mainly grammar, but in high school it is more about the most well-known books of our national writers). I hope to see you speaking more Polish in future videos :D I ain't gonna lie when I say that you inspired me to learn Portuguese so that I can talk to some people while being there :)

Regarding Romanian, there are 2 things:
1. 14:51 That means "how have you learned Romanina?" (literally "where do you know Romanian from?")
But I got it, because "de unde știi română?” is very similar to ”de unde ești din România?” (what you thought he was asking.)
2. When the Romanian guys said ”merci” you thought they switched to French for a second but that‘s actually how we say thank you. We spell it "mersi" instead of "merci" and became part of Romanian vocabulary for a long time. We say "Mulțumesc“ only in a formal context, like to a teacher or a doctor or something like this.

@@KazuLanguages Yep, merci and ciao are internationally used. In Romania we borrowed "merci" about 100 years ago when French was the most spoken language in Europe. Hope that's helpful

I want to read nonfiction histories and biographies in French and German. My current method is to spend an hour reading French on one day, German the next day, and continue alternating. I'm reading mostly online news articles on a variety of topics in order to broaden my grasp of vocabulary. I hope eventually to be able to read books in French and German, and Spanish as well. Thank you for the videos, they inspire me to never surrender.

I always use a book called Assimil as well! I'm using tons of stuff and would like to put it all together in the near future🙏

@@Hackbridge1963 For me, the audio is essential! I always read it aloud, which is very effective. The audio is only in recorded in the target language, so it's the same in both English and French ;)
