@@ElliYeetYT but still managing to listen through rocknroll in it's crude and wild form is quite the task even if much less. I don't have a second doubt regarding whether you had already checked the stones given your affection with good music.
@@crowkid5553 I guess it's a grower. For me at least, most it just doesn't work. (Although 2000 Light Years and She's a Rainbow are absolutely masterpieces).
Tattoo You is pretty underrated, should be talked about more at least for the second part alone. Not to say that the first side is bad... ohoho, no. The first side is the sound of pure exaggerated swagger of a rolling stone (Neighbours is pretty bad, but I can forgive its existence), but the second one is just perfect balladry. The sound of the whole album is quite unusual - pretty 80-sish, but it gives it its own kind of swag, the guitar tone and the overall production shines. Also, Voodoo Lounge is not to be simply dismissed. Love Is Strong and Thru and Thru exist.
Voodoo Lounge is absolutely to be dismissed. It’s not good, it’s just a long, boring, self-aware “comeback” album that didn’t need to happen. They should’ve broke up in 1982.
@@curly_wyn The only problem with Voodoo Lounge is that it's insanely long. It has plenty of great songs on it. So glad they didn't break up in the 80s.

Not to turn away the focus from The Stones, but, did Motley Crue rip off the album cover for "Sticky Fingers"? It looks way too similar to "Too Fast For Love" to be a coincidence
What a madman, went through the entire stones discography in a couple of days.
I did have experience with most of the music I had heard already before starting so it didn’t take as long as I thought. 🙂

They had an absolutely spectacular run between 1968 and 1973.
Actually I'll say fron their start to 1973, there was not one bad album during that period
@@crowkid5553 well... Satanic Majesties is up to debate XD (but that's a personal taste thing of course)

Great seeing a Rosen describing video using new audio. I was getting sick of the usual tinned syrup getting used.
