I got the chance to talk personally with Stuart las month. He's a really funny and humble guy . After his masterclass he asked to the crowd "Who is the number one Jamiroquai fan here?" A girl jumped up from her chair and asked "Me!!" and Stuart gave her his bass. He spent about one hour hanging around the hall , talking with the people as if he was one more of us. When I was talking woth Jonas Hellborg Stuart asked me if I had a good time that day. Very humble, very smart, very funny. Cool guy
He doesn’t really do much of that on here ( or TH-cam ) some people just aren’t jammers or noodle I’m one of them But in a band setting they shine and create
Oh man the things id do for this bass. This instrument speaks to me. I grew up listening to jamiroquai, and stuart is a big motivation to me as a bass player. I picked up bass november of 2017, and am incredibly proud of my accomplishments and progress as a musician. This instrument is gorgeous, and to be honest is one of 2 warwick designs i actually find appealing (The other being infinity nt). This bass, in its red/orange multichrome finish and white pickup covers truly is jaw dropping to me. Ever since i saw a picture of it on instagram ive been hooked on it. I cant justify the 7.5k dollars to buy one, but i know where my lottery money is going if i ever do win in the future. I currently play an ibanez tmb 310, and while its a wonderful bass at its price point, it couldn't compare to a bass of this caliber. This bass infuriates me and makes me long for it at the same time. Ive never had a bass speak to me so strongly.
Dear Warwick, please give your reviewers some freedom to express themselfs. I watched a truckload of reviews for various models and Andy here (and the other german guy) soud like robots. Musicians love to express what they feel, and reading same text but with different model names and woods is really boring. Not to mention a fake smile...
well, you can't say these guys aren't pros. they're good at informing the audiance with the neccesary attributes of the products; though, all in all, I agree with you. the contrast between Zender's flamboyant personality and Andy's robot like informative presentation is ultra felt.
Daum - yeah, I won't defend anything. Well, the bass is cool, that's for sure. I kinda always hated doing these videos, because they had to be scripted out and I had two pages of specs needing to be read off, I assure you it sucked. Hence after never ever feeling like I did well, I left this job. You are welcome to take my place if you think you can do it better, have fun! peace!!
Don't get me wrong! You did an awesome job especially when you say that you kinda hated doing this videos. Your playing is spot on (awesome to be exact I learned a lot from you and still am learning over on TrueFire channel and your channel) and presentation is great but after watching a lot of vids it gets clear that you are not feeling it because of the script. I mean I get it, it is a job like any other, but they should have given you a bit more freedom because you are a great presenter, great teacher and "feeling it" is a big part of being a musician. Trust me I can not do a better job than you because ...well...first I'm Croatian so you can imagine the level of accent, two I am not as good of a bass player as you are and three when I see the camera it is like having a gun pointed at me! XD Cheers mate!
Its what you get when you want a "signature" series bass... pay extra bucks for some big guy endorsing the model, and if lucky one or two minor modifications to prior models.
This design is completely unique because Stuart is off the beaten path, this build cost so much to set up for, theirs not just a jig they can use to get it all carved out, like fender whose signature models are just fancy guys name on headstock new paint job and brand name hardware
I know eh? Like, he was there, in the video and studio, why go to Andy? But that bridge and nut combo... makes it so anybody from a baby to The hulk could play it!
+waffle Stuart always slid up like that in the Jamiroquai albums and playing live. I suggest looking up the video Jamiroquai Scam Tokyo Japan live. He does it quite a bit in the intro of that live track. :)
Maybe you're saying that Warwick basses sound terrible? BECAUSE their amps are very much the sound of their bass's tone without a lot of coloring. Maybe you should reword your statement PROPERLY?
than shut up and leave it alone! there are mcmillions of bass players who cannot stand or tolerate slap because thats all people do! if you dont like people pointing it out, dont read!!!
jay wells it's not all that people do you're just very closed minded and you clearly don't see my point, so I'm going to leave this argument. I'll just leave you to your old man slap hating.

what the shit?! Why didn't Stuart Zender play the demo for the bass?
Lol

Andy Irvine ain't all shabby either.

this bass looks so fcking awesome
It’s like Warwick’s version of the Carl Thompson.
I watched this video 100 times. Beautiful bass for an awesome player.
Warwick basses are straight up beautiful.....adore my corvette $$
kinda wish he would..ya know, play it. for real.

Andy Irvine I'm a huge fan of your current videos. The playing and non-scripted ad-libbing are great! Thanks for keeping the Funk alive!
keep going Andy.. even some people get bored, I still enjoy every reviews of Warwick.. they made great basses
He is rather interesting
Nice looking bass...proud price too...well not too many will be sold...I think both my Spector Euros sounds pretty darn good as well.
I love the mother of pearl insets. We really should have heard Stuart play.
Zender is one of the funniest cats EVER.
why would anyone want to have somebody else's initials on a bass.. for over 6000€ they better print my face out of gold ink on it.
That G string sounds a bit off.... Haha ^^
Andy's slap riff at the beginning is f****** awesome :D
Love your playing on this one Andy!
If u guys wanna c Stuart play this bass, check out zingzilla!
That last bit of riffing at the end sounded like Stanley Clarke. Wonder if he's playing his own material.
nice bass, but a cheaper model without the SZ on the neck would be nice!
The bass of my dreams, I have to say!
Wonderful Bass
€6000 for this bass which sounds good, but honestly does it sound 3x better than [insert good bass model here] ?

This bass is really hard to find...
Awesome bass I want it
Did they even make this? Cant find any info on it
But these aren't reviewers. They are product specialists.
I like Andy, Iv watched a lot of his videos but when he says War Wick it drives me nuts.
Do you have to have an oversized hat to be in Jamiroquai or do they issue you one after you get the gig?
Andy, you didn’t even mention the one thing that makes this bass different from other Warwicks, the deep cutaways.
it looks strange but i feel like it amazing and rlly easy too play
What's the song that they play before all the interviews
What is the name of this musical piece?: 9:31
yes
I want a custom swamp-ass bass: really funky, a bit stanky, and is always just a little uncomfortable.
DharmaMidget genius comment 😂👌
Yes 4 sure...
if i had that sort of disposable income (which eventually i will hopefully) it would be totally worth it.
If only i could afford it.
I know eh? Like, he was there, in the video and studio, why go to Andy? But that bridge and nut combo... makes it so anybody from a baby to The hulk could play it!
does anyone know what Stuart zender is playing when he demonstrates when he slides up to the top fret?
+brendrp im pretty sure hes just makin stuff up
+TheBBQify ah thanks, thought so. sounds awesome though!! :D
+waffle Stuart always slid up like that in the Jamiroquai albums and playing live. I suggest looking up the video Jamiroquai Scam Tokyo Japan live. He does it quite a bit in the intro of that live track. :)
Another story
It's a bass, dude.
Cool axe. Looks Claypool.
It's a stunning bass,no question. But for that sort of money I'd be getting a Stingray, much more versatility and around £3000 GBP change!
I can see why SZ uses ashdown. Lovely instrument tho.
well, to each his own...
0:36 that was a little sus… 😳
Love Warwick!, my preferite Bass guitar.
know that this is an easy change since the Fani and are giving ........the undos up
You are too funny.
Illuminati fret inlays ;)
LOL
Hi. Can I get one for free?
+jpcaras yes.
Will you give me one?
jpcaras yes.
How will you give it to me? I'm in Europe, btw.
yes.
Stupendo...
sounds so hyped eq bypassed what the? :D sounds cool :D
The design is really ugly. Why didnt he put the Iroquai Bass as his signature bass?
awesome bass! but over 6000.- euros for a bass guitar!? Come on, that's silly!
warwick amps sound terrible
I think it's a genz benz head
Luis Enrique Jarufe Aragón they only use warwick products in these videos. So no to it being Genz Benz
Maybe you're saying that Warwick basses sound terrible?
BECAUSE their amps are very much the sound of their bass's tone without a lot of coloring.
Maybe you should reword your statement PROPERLY?
very funny
Even with treble on middle position sound super trebly,mm not my cup of tea.But good bass anyway.
Stuart's actual bass is MUCH better than the piece of crap Andy demos!
You ripped off Prince on that design.
bluttarn HAHAHA that is no way offensive, you're so edgy bro
ILOLminati
Oh oh, illuminati bass. Spooky.
Nice looking bass. Pretty annoying sounding bassist...
..It doesn't even look that good. It could use a nice looking top
Too brittle
can we stop slapping and popping?!?! please?!?! its totally unimpressive!!!!! thanks!!!
jay wells it's a fucking style who cares just fucking don't watch if you don't like it.
oh my gawd i didnt need a reply! how about if you dont like it dont reply!!!!!!
jay wells I just don't see the need for complaint. It's an accepted style that people are way too salty over when people use it.
than shut up and leave it alone! there are mcmillions of bass players who cannot stand or tolerate slap because thats all people do! if you dont like people pointing it out, dont read!!!

stop slapping start PLAYING
juxtaposeism oh fuck me there's always people like you, its a style accept it and shut the fuck up.
Annoying to say the least
I don't particularly like the active sounds of Warwick and Specter.
That's just fine, lol because there's a thousands of P basses & J's for you to play and enjoy sir...so why are you here again?
Nice✌🏼🔥♥️
