as the title says, i beat doors, and had a good time playing it :D
just so you know, i do have some door 100 experience, so i DID know what to do
because i wouldn't just barge into there and do everything wrong and die, so i watched like a 3 minute tutorial on it, and a few weeks ago i reached it and did exactly nothing right, so yeah.
i'd also like to thank everyone that kept me motivated to play, because doors is super fun, and you might see more of it in the future on my channel.

The reason ambush killed you is ambush kills you by looking at you, while rush kills you if you and him are in the same area of a room.

Ambush has Raycast AI, Meaning he kills on sight, so get out, then immediately get back in. You can also hide behind closets that aren't somewhat exposed to ambush.

Nice man, ggs, i got the game once, first try after i won library, but welp, next day, i did it somehow again, and died to door 96 bc of OP eyes. Totally didnt rage :))
for me solo is easier then multi player bc people take ur closet while ambush is gonna end ur carrer
Tip:if you want like vitamins and lockpicks make sure to keep your lighter above half cuz it increases the luck of getting a vitamin (Works for me, and also check all drawers cuz there might be a vitamin)

Quick lil tip: dont hide as soon as the lights flicker because rush takes alot of time to come, around 10 seconds sometimes so hide can kick you out

2 useful tips tip number 1. Ambush has a 00. 0 chance of spawning but every door you pass the chance increases by 00. 38% tip number 2. Apperently the much players the much slower rush is

That noob character in the start of the video was when Roblox went down for some people… I experienced that too… I was so surprised I thought it was a hacker who did that I’m still confused about that and I’m still thinking if it was a hacker also great video btw.
I beat doors 5 times so maybe I could give you tips on how to beat the game
Entities:
Rush: The lights will flicker when it’s near. When it does, hide in a closet or a bed to avoid him. There are some fake flickers though.
Eyes: Don’t look at it. It will take 10% of your health if you look at it.
Screech: It only appears in dark rooms. If you hear a “psst” quickly look around and stare at it. He will deal 40% of your health.
Ambush: Same as Rush, but runs past twice. He’ll do it again for 1-6 times until he goes away. If you hear him coming back, you need to hide in a closet and hop back in again.
Jack: He’s mostly harmless. He’ll jumpscare you in a closet or when you enter a room but doesn’t deal any damage. There is a 1/20 to appear in a closet and 1/2000 chance to spawn in a room. If he spawns in a room, the room will turn red with black spots. After a few seconds, the room will turn normal again.
Seek: If you start seeing eyes, he is coming. If you see a long hallway with no eyes, he will appear. After you reach almost the end of the hallway, he will appear through the floor.
Figure: He’s blind but he has really good hearing. Don’t come too close because he can sense your heartbeat. If he is coming for you, hide in a closet. You’ll have to do a mini-game in the closet. You have to control your heartbeat. Left click and Right click or Q and E to control your heartbeat. On mobile, just tap the screen.
Halt: If the lights will flicker a lot of times, he is going to appear in the next room. Turn around and keep running when the screen flashes. When the screen flashes, it’ll say “TURN AROUND” so you actually have to turn around. Do this multiple times until you reach the door.
Glitch: He’ll jumpscare you and take 40% of your health if you stay behind your friends or a room doesn’t load properly.
Timothy: He’s mostly harmless. He will spawn in drawers and will jumpscare you and deal 5% of your health.
Window: You can see him in the lobby at the leaderboards. He has a very rare chance of spawning in a run after Seek’s chase.
Shadow: Has a very rare chance of spawning in a room. Will jumpscare you and you will see them for 1 second.
Guiding Light: The only helping entity in the game. If you die to an entity, they will give to tips how to avoid them. They also give a shiny sound when a key or a book is near. They also give the blue light in Seek’s chase when you’re supposed to go there.
Items:
Lighter: Will help you see in dark rooms.
Vitamins: Provides health and speed boost.
Lock-picks: You can use them to open a lock. They will break after you use it.
Flashlight: Will help you see in dark rooms. It’s better than a lighter.
Coins, Gold, Diamonds: Will give you more coins. They will spawn in drawers. If you get Gold or Diamonds, you get more coins. Coins will give you more knobs.
Places:
Lobby: Enter an elevator to start a run.
Room 1: Find a key and unlock the door.
Locked rooms: Find a key and unlock the door.
Seek’s chase: The blue lights will help you go to the correct path. Look both ways before you progress. Don’t touch the hands and the fire. The fire will deal damage. The hands will kill you.
Library: Find books to escape. Grab the paper on the table to figure out the code. Example: The paper says “Star = IV” and the book says “Star = 3” That means the fourth digit of the code is 3. IV in Roman Numerals is 4.
Room 100: You can run past Figure or go back to room 99 and hide in a closet or bed. You have to do the heartbeat mini-game again. Go upstairs and grab the key in the elevator. Go unlock the door and go to the Elevator Power. If it says “6” and the square is lit up, turn on number 6. If it says “4” and the square is hollow or not lit up, don’t turn on number 4. You’ll do this 3 times. After you’re done, go to the elevator and escape.

heres a tip for beating figure on level 50: instead of trying to find the books without knowing where figure is, once you enter the library, try maintaining sight on figure from afar, and watch where figure would usually walk around, with this, you can then know which books you can look for easily, most recommended you get the books that aren't guarded by figure.

I got ambush at door 6, couldn't record because I was on mobile and didn't have mobizen open

I can confirm that Ambush is so rare. When I reached the 100 room, I noticed that I didn't meet Ambush in my run. So probably I was lucky to beat Doors.
Ambush isnt rare, the chance of it comming goes up by 0.5% every room, so at room 98 it can come with a 40% chance

I almost beaten the game but gave up on doing the elavator starting thing cuz i didnt undearstand what to do but i hope this video will help me
i do not know- what the hell just happened in my doors run okay it seemed like a normal run at start but the first event that happened was ^ambush being at door 7....^ and then at about 20 there was halt, and then there was timothy in a drawer right after ambush and then my door lagged at seeks chase a little and it caused me to be closer to him but i succeeded that, i would probably have a double-ambush round if i beat the game but i didnt and its probably more rare than that happening to me than me beating the game
