Exciting live performance of this perfectly composed sonata in a lively tempo with dynamically articulated sound of violin and clearly controlled sound of piano. Such an ideal combination of two virtuosi is totally inconceivable in the 21st century. Simply breathtaking!
hey guys, someone had uploaded an amazing video of Kogan playing the second movement of this sonata. It was from 1974 I believe. Recently it disappeared, does anyone know anything? If the person who uploaded is seeing this PLEASE put it back, it was incredible. Thank you
A very fine performance from two outstanding musicians of this difficult work - though not as brilliant as the version of Oistrakh and Richter; but so much better than versions by recent artists. The sound quality could be better though.
Spannende live Aufführung dieser perfekt komponierten Sonate im lebhaften Tempo mit dynamisch artikuliertem Ton der Violine und klar kontrolliertem Klang des Klaviers. Solch eine ideale Kombination zweier Virtuosen ist ganz unbegreiflich im 21. Jahrhundert. Einfach atemberaubend!
