Hi Sef, I am from Saint Bernard. I hope you can reach the areas in Saint Bernard, San Juan (Cabali.an), Anahawan, Hinunanan, Silago, and the Panaon Island and Sogod Southern Leyte. They are heavily damage. And yet no media are making news. There is one in GMA but they are only in Sogod. If you wish to go there, use the Abuyog and then use the Hinunangan - Saint Bernard Diversion Road. No offense to the other areas which is also hit by the typhoon rai / odette. But those areas I've mentioned 90% of the coastal areas are washed out. I Hope you can find this comment. Thank you and God Bless

Compared to the 2013 Category 5 Super Typhoon Yolanda, the situation is a lot, lot better after this 2021 Category 4 Typhoon Odette as transportation and business have resumed a day after the typhoon but no water yet. While not comparable in terms of maximum sustained winds, I think 320 kph vs. 185 kph, the government preemptive actions and post typhoon actions are much to be admired. Much actions are still to be done but today's national government compared to the 2013 national goverment actions is very much alive in the province.
That 320kph of Yolanda is 1 min sustained, while 180 kph Of Odette is 10min sustained. Yolanda still stronger even you are wrong. Yolanda is 235 kph (10min sustained) while making Landfall. While Odette is 195kph (10min sustained) while making Landfall. Know the difference between 10min and 1 min sustained win. You making people confused to your comment.

Brings back Typhoon Yolanda destructions way back 2013 the difference is leaser casualties since preemptive evacuations we're enforced days ahead before Odette makes landfall,, damaged to properties, structures and agriculture is inevitable what's more important is to save lives.. Brings back Typhoon Yolanda destructions way back 2013 the difference is leaser casualties since preemptive evacuations we're enforced days ahead before Odette makes landfall,, damaged to properties, structures and agriculture is inevitable what's more important is to save lives..
