Indeed! Alter has been crowned as the most beautiful Giyu’s face figure so far. Their signature is the face transformation. They usually upgrade the character’s face to be prettier than the original like a camera application. 😁
I agree! The Kotobukiya one really nailed it. I hesitated to get the Alter's since it was indeed too expensive for a 1/8 scale
Exactly! Alter is too pricey for the 1/8 scale.💸 With this premium price, they should have expanded the size to be 1/7 or 1/6 scale.😗 My lovely Giyu Kotobukiya will stand the test of time! ☺

You must be proud of them! Our Giyu is very elegant and fabulous in Alter’s design. 🥰
The price is absurd imo. I'm not paying more than 30 000 yen (i actually meant) for a 1/8 scale figure. Kotobukiya clears even with the face that look more like the character , the pose is better and the price is waaaay better lol.

Thank you! 😉 Giyu is my top 3 favorite characters. He is a kind of unconditional love.😌 I think he has few scale figures compared to Kyujuro. (Only 4 in 3 years) My Giyu shrine has grown slowly, but steadily, at a happy pace for my wallet-Kun. 😁
P.S. I couldn't agree more with you about Kotobukiya. No one can beat him so far.🙂
รออยู่เลยครับ 😊 ชอบตอนท้ายที่มาวิเคราะห์เห็นด้วยทุกข้อเลยครับพอมาวางรวมๆ Alter เหมือน Maga House เวอร์ชั่นอัพเกรดจริงครับ ส่วนตัวเห็นด้วยทุกข้อเลยครับตอนนี้ก็ยังยกให้ Kotobukiya ทำหน้าตัวละครได้ตรงที่สุดตอนนี้เลยครับถ้าเป็นกิยูกับอุซุยแล้วก็หนุ่มๆ Fireforce เพราะพี่แกทำอยู่ค่ายเดียว 😅 แต่ทำดีจริงๆครับ น่าจะเป็นคนไทยคนแรกที่ได้กิยู Alter เลยครับของพึ่งลงญี่ปุ่นไม่กี่วันเองครับดูช่องนี้เวลาตัวไหนที่บอกรอดูแล้วของออกรู้สึกเวลาผ่านไปเร็วจริงๆครับอย่างกิยู Alter บอกจะรอดูตั้งแต่เห็นตัวอย่างยังไม่เปิดพรีแปปๆของออกแล้ว 😄 รอดูอุซุย Aniplex นะครับชอบช่วงที่เอาน้องๆมาวางรวมแล้ววิเคราะห์แทบจะเป็นช่องเดียวเลยครับที่ได้ดูแบบนี้ 👍🏻
ขอบคุณนะคะ 😍 ตอนแรกก็คิดว่า เราเป็นคนเดียวมั้ยนะที่ชอบ Koto มากกว่า Alter เพราะเหมือนหลายคนหวังไว้มากกับตัวนี้ งานจริงสวยค่ะ สวยมากด้วย หน้าหวานๆ ท่าก็สง่างาม เอฟเฟคน้ำพริ้วๆ แต่ไม่รู้ทำไมภาพรวมไม่ได้ทำให้รู้สึกประทับใจอย่างจังเหมือน Koto ยิ่งเอาหน้ามาเทียบกัน เอาจริงๆ Alter ทำหน้ามาสวยกว่า แต่เราก็ชอบหน้าแบบออริจินัลของ Koto อยู่ดีค่ะ ส่วนงานลงสีก็ยังยืนหนึ่งเหมือนเดิม ☺
ช่วงนี้เหมือนของออกเยอะเพราะออกติดๆกันค่ะ เลื่อนมาชนกันนั่นเอง บริหารงบหน้าแห้งเลย 😅 ยังดีที่ Aniplex อุซุย กับ F: Nex ยูตะ ของมาช้า น่าจะเดือนหน้า ถ้าชนกันเดือนนี้ได้กินมาม่าทุกวันแน่ๆค่ะ โหดร้ายเหลือเกิน 🥺

Just wondering is Alter giyu nearly same scale with aniplex one? from the vid it looks 1 size smaller than kotobukiya one and pretty close to aniplex size
Do you think it would fit along with aniplex line like hinokami tanjiro?

Thank you! 😍 Yes, You're right. Giyu Alter is nearly the same size as Aniplex. Both Aniplex and Alter are smaller than Kotobukiya.
I display Alter Giyu next to Tanjiro Hinokami Kagura. They certainly look great together. Tanjiro is indeed a space-eater figure, while Giyu stands elegant in his proper space. 😁
I'm not a Kyujuro big fan, So, I don't invest in his scale figures. Sorry! I'm not sure which Kyujuro Aniplex version you're considering buying. I think the 1/4 scale with his crow is the best of three. But my favorite Kyujoro figure is Megahouse G.E.M. I like his graceful face, which complements his elegant and smooth pose.😀

Rule of thumb when buying KNY figures: never preorder them because they WILL tank in the aftermarket. This is especially true for me when it comes to Aniplex Rengoku 1/4 scale. It's so beautiful but the price is just 💸. Then again, collectors rarely have patience as one of their virtues so I understand wanting to get a figure ASAP. 🤣🤣🤣
There is no pre-order rule here, just now or never! 🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait to see your 1/4 Renguku with his crow. It made me wonder who is your No.1 favorite between Gojo and Rengoku, he he. 🤔😙

Hi! 😀 Sorry to say that I’m not a big fan of Mit-Chan and Muichiro. I adore them. But I collect only the figures of the characters I love most. They must spark joy in my heart like Tanjiro, Giyu, Uzui, Kanao, Yoriichi, and Doma. 🙂
I saw some reviews of the Masterlise Mitsuri and Muichiro. They look nice as Masterlise’s standard. I think the actual works will be accurate to the advertised, based on my experiences with Tanjiro and Giyu Masterlise. 🤓

My friend in Japan ordered him for me. I'm not sure how it works in your country, but in Thailand, we have several ways to get figures. You can order from local toy shops or distributors, or ask a shop to order it from Japan for you. 🙂
