He’s insanely, cartoonishly good on the drums. But when he came to my crib to give me lessons he took the time to go tell my dad thank you for letting him come to the crib, totally didn’t have to. Such a genuinely good dude.
My favorite drummer on the planet seen him live in 2021 with mononeon been more inspired than ever to play drums since. Was at this show, drove 12 hours to see him again in New York worth every bit of it. I’m appalled by the hate I see and literally can’t understand it. Shows the state of the world not being able to appreciate this lol
the guy is super talented but this has no replay value... there is a huge difference between guys like Dave weckle, Nate smith, Gavin Harrison, Thomas haake etc. and this. If you know anything you will no I am not trashing this guy but rather making an observation that is undeniable

Okay, got it--The drummer is King Kong of the band. But fire the sound guy, even if he's following orders. The ladies are currently just eye candy and their mics are just useless, non-functioning props. Not Return To Forever, and not The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Needs focus and much less ego tripping by one particular member.
Hey fam. You should just enjoy it for what it is. He’s made it a point to go beyond the thresholds, and barriers of what you think “Music” is supposed to be and made it his own. Rather focus on the good happening. Technical difficulties are apart of show. As far as Ego….. HE IS THAT GUY. He has the elements of all the greats in his playing, and has the most important skill that a lot of musicians are striving for. The ability to NOT CARE. Eat the meat and throw out the bones. Perhaps maybe if you thought in that light, you’d probably leave with much more than you wrote on here
