The right side is the passenger, the left is the driver's side. The assemblies should have a sticker on the back stating right or left, but if that's missing, install the brake assembly so the magnet is at the bottom and the actuating arm that the magnet is attached to is on the side closest to the front of the trailer. I have a travel travel trailer with dexter easy lube hubs. I have 10000 miles on the 2015 trailer and have kept the bearings greased. I have begin the process of installing seals and bearings. I have found it very difficult to remove the hubs and was told be dealer service they needed to be pried off sometimes. The ports at the back did not seem to offer access to the rotor wheel adjustment. (self adjusting brakes I think and I do see rotor when hub is off) Some of the wheels do not seem to spin as eastly as they should. Can yo u give me any advise about hubs being too tight and wheel not spinning well? Thanks
Sure can! We offer replacement pads for the left side assembly as part # K71-681 and for the right as part # K71-682. Here's links to them: www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter/K71-681.html www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter/K71-682.html Hope that helps!
This is a nice set of brakes. The bearings were also made by Dexter. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/23-468.html www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hubs-and-Drums/Dexter-Axle/84546UC3.html

The brakes have a springs that will apply constant pressure so that they are always adjusting closely to the brake drum. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/23-468.html
Not all trailers with dual axles will have brakes on both axles. Typically, the weight that the trailer is rated for will be the determining factor on whether or not it will have brakes on both axles. In the case of a camper trailer it will be based off of the weight of the trailer itself. The best way to check is to look at your axles and you will either see a brake drum or a disc brake. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/23-468.html
Is “right” passenger side, or driver side?
The right side is the passenger, the left is the driver's side. The assemblies should have a sticker on the back stating right or left, but if that's missing, install the brake assembly so the magnet is at the bottom and the actuating arm that the magnet is attached to is on the side closest to the front of the trailer. Good review. Is there any difference in the brake compound between the etrailer and Dexter brake pads? If so what is the difference?

We're no seeing a question there. How can we help?
If your going to do a instruction video don’t double click your torque wrench. Bad habit that over tightens a nut. 2 lb per extra click.
