Watching from Oxfordshire in the UK. Love and miss the dry hot tracks of the Kunene Region. I used to drive in those roads during the Immunisation Campaigns of the Ministry of Health Of Namibia. Conquered those tracks in a 1989 60 series station wagon Land Cruiser 😁. I miss the desert.
It’s risky but some have done it solo. You need to be skilled and fully understand your vehicle including mechanical and well experienced OFF-ROAD driving especially with rocks and mountains. It can take days if not weeks before someone else come through the pass if you happen to be in trouble
