This is Round1 in Temecula, CA. There are many in California and other states have them too. This is a Japanese arcade that originated in Japan, this is why most of the plush, figures and machines are different from traditional ones.
On the opening week, round one typically sets the machines to skill to create excitement and positive word of mouth advertising about the new location. Unfortunately after the first week, the arcade goes back to pay out mode. I'm so grateful that you share your techniques with all of us. It helps tip the odds in our favor!

I live in town as well and I'm so happy this finally opened up. Walked out with 9 plushies the other day along with winning two for my coworker with his credits. Haha. I go a lot after work with friends and coworkers and they have me win them stuff from the claw machines too. We now live here after work in the late nights. :D
I was at that arcade last week! I live 20 minutes away from there! The arcade stays open til 2 am which is weird cuz the mall closes between 8-9 depending on the day. I saw that tiger/panda machine on my way out and I was laughing at how funny that looked with that jaw. My friends thought the same thing 🤣🤣 9:53
