Day in the life as a Father and balancing your family life with your training 🙏🏿 A May family Christmas gathering would be solid too bro. Also would love to see tiny more on his journey back to first grade. Your old man is a legend uso
Really lovely good blokes Wishing them every sucess and happeness Terren is the rock of the family Taylan will be back in a big and good way Keep up the good work Im hugh Fan God bless Terel take us on another long run with
So refreshing to hear their dad being reflective of his parenting journey. You can hear through all the hardship, it was all love for his kids to have better than what he had - This is the reality for a lot us parents, doing the best we could do with the example set before us.
Best VLOG ive watched in a long time uso. Not often do you get to hear the point of view from the parent of an athlete- man really appreciate your Dads honesty in how you were all raised. Blessings uso - keep this kind of content up! Its one of a kind! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
This is the content young pacific islanders should be watching. A disciplined young fit man who's achieved greatness in life. Making nrl ain't no joke and it ain't for the weak. Instead of watching uce gang and other overweight vloggers! They're not that funny and what have they done in life????? Eat!
Bro! Finally a honest reflection on how a lot of us grew up. A lot of parents try and hide those moments. We use to get belted, and guess what? We are all good and became resilient because of it. Big ups to Dad. As a dad with kids and coaching. My dream is to achieve the same.
What do you mean the NRL don’t want you to see ? Garbage. What is with this generations sense of victimhood, ‘poor me’ ‘so hard done’ by b.s. And that is what it is - complete BS. Newsflash - you aren’t the only ones who have had to struggle through life. Welcome to the club.
5:40 Dads humility really shines through and I’m sure these values have been taught to the brothers. Thanks for sharing some insights about the raising of the May brothers. Congrats and more blessings to your family.
What a dad - his parts were refreshingly open and honest. Don’t necessarily agree with all his parenting but you can see he did what he thought was best and tried his best to raise them right. Even in what he said about Terrell and thinking he maybe should’ve tried other ways of teaching him was very self aware.
Yep 100, dont agree wifh all dad's views and methods, lotta people unfortunately grew up in violent households, that cycle is gettin broken slowly. it's obvious he's sacrificed a lot for his kids and is humble ❤
when he said @ the start "truth was i just wanted to be around the boys" i felt that .. a majority of kids will never feel that before entering their teens..
Pretty humble for a guy that bred professional athletes in his household. I grew up the same, in a place where it wasn’t too pleasant for most, but for me it was home. You build character and resilience. You boys give the hood motivation and a realistic chance of cracking it.
I absolutely love this honesty and it’s clear why Terrell has become tha man he is. One of the most refreshing and real things I’ve ever seen. Takes me back to my childhood
Agreed.. I grew up in Penrith, Werrington and St Mary’s and had friends in Tregear, Whalan and Mt Druitt.. this video brings back heaps of memories. Thanks for sharing a family insight 🙌🏻 For anybody thinking Dad was harsh, that’s the way we grew up.. our parents were tough on us, and expected us to grow up strong mentally and physically.. If you were a male, it was that men don’t cry attitude, that harsh exterior. Well done fellas, you’ve taken the good with the bad, life’s lessons and still hold your heads high, well done 🙌🏻
You boys have an awesome father. A great role model for men. Hes instilled alot of value and, mistakes aside, did a great job raising fine young men. Great video.
5 mins into this video I was in tears.. I swear all islanders lived the same life.. I grew up in bidwill, chestnut crescent. The best times of my life. ❤ thank you for the raw and honesty so good to see and hear.
Thanks Dad May Snr, you bought up and Raised your siblings with Dignity and Respect, and yr Boys make us Samoans proud when they Represent. the ''TOA' Much Love !!
This was a good episode; my family enjoyed it. It was nice to hear from the dad and learn how you guys were raised. I saw that your dad was wearing his Samoan shirt for this one; nice! Hopefully, your mother and sister will be featured on another episode. Looking forward to it. Fantastic stuff!
This is beautiful, you truly have an amazing dad! And a beautiful family unit! Sometimes we need some tough loving, may not see it at the time but it’s all out of love. You’s are very blessed! Yous all have good heads on your shoulders and I hope yous are proud of yourselves. Respectful and humble
This got me emotional. Your dad & mom are heroes. This is one of the most inspiring story I've ever come across of NRL players' background and upbringing. Watching from PNG. Blessed and much motivated by this. 💯❤️
It’s refreshing how raw and honest your father is on how he raised your guys. Being a young father of 6 boys myself I can relate to many of your father’s parenting tactics even though some will not agree. It also gives me comforting knowing that it’s ok to make mistakes along the way and that at the end of the day it all comes from love ❤️. Your dad is more Samoan then all of yous 🤣🤣 the man ! Thank for the content uso ! Very good to see the uso Tiny on , my 6 boys loves that guy ! God bless USO’s nothing but blessing 🙏❤️
Mad respect for their parents, who raised respectful, and driven young men so true it doesn’t matter about your environment, but it matters about your surroundings, and who you keep us company that will always impact your future. Good to see them all thriving in life and not forgetting their roots. 💪🏾
Your parents had a plan! Through all the tough times the trainings & the sacrifices youse all had to go through it was to get to where youse are in life right now! Solid usos!
Wow! What a legend the Dad is really old school. His sons have turned out amazing considering the Suburb and growing up with very little. They must be one in a million. Having sons you need a strong father figure with rules and steering you on the right path. Yep it was tough. Great story thank you
Your dads honesty and love really shines through in this interview. Guy should be proud brother, hope you all continue to navigate through life with him by your side 🙏
Cause dad was so tough on yous look where yous are now not many make nrl but 3 brothers to make it what achievement obviously it left scares on you but yous able to support mumn dad and make your dreams come real the financial struggle over thank for letting us into your family life and not sugar coating it❤❤❤
What a classy father, not pulling any punches or letting the kids make excuses. So impressive it's fukin awesome to see & hear. Love it from NZ,keep up the amazing work & stick at it boys.
Much respect to Big Pappa May! Looks like the boys ended up growing up with a Samoan Dad after all. He litterally follows the Fa''asamoan way of Peranting.
Back to back bangers!!! Loved the interview with Franny Loco and now your Dad, Tyrone and Taylan. I lived in Mt Druitt for only a few months back in 2011- 2012 and always used to play touch at Tregear and Hebersham Park. Brian To'os older brother used to carve up and he was the one who burnt Michael Jennings when he used to come down and jam but then he never came back after that hahaha.
That’s love brah. Proper insight to where it all started. Your old man is definitely the reason you boys don’t let all that noise in. Built different 🤞🏽🤍
Hahaha the dreaded “ wait till I get home “ we were all tough when just mum was home 😂 Undies, shorts, long pants. Rinse and repeat a few times, then act like he got ya a beauty.
I grew up in Tregear, in fact the house I spent my whole childhood up to 17 was in the first few minutes of the video - 37 Bransfield Street Where you grow up doesn't define you, it's part of what created you. I've been reasonably successful, had fantastic parents and look back very fondly on my time there. Great video. Thanks
Good on ya man, great video 👏 you're old mans a legend It's good you're exposing to a lot of people what it's like growing up and living in places like these in Australia. Hopefully it will give everyone a better understanding ❤
Damn uce your dad is that guy!! This is the best vlog I’ve seen in years, content is a breath of fresh air and so authentic, keep up the great work👊🏽👊🏽
Without wanting to guess your dad's age, he's from the same generation as me when meth rocked the whole country 10 years after heroin had done its thjng, and he is from the roughest patch in Syd. He coulda used and and every excuse in the book to throw his life away, but love wins 💞. Awesome story, helped me see the big picture as I deal with depression and grief, thankyou lads
Bigger fan more and more mate, you caught my attention last year with your consistent footy, so I starting watching you alot more. Great to see the other side mate, and I hope you carry the same energy and consistency over to the tigers.
Shout out to you, your brothers and Dad. This is the side of league that no one sees, especially for the usos that came from REAL humble beginnings. Mad love to you all. Would love to see your mums p.o.v. your samoan side, esp being Samoan in Aus, what it was like for her and raising 3 boys and what it meant for her to see her boys repping 685. This is what it looks like having an engaged father figure in your life!!! Shout out to pops!!!

No it’s not, the NRL is a sport and not here to showcase everyone’s backstory lmao.
