Thanks! Very nervous walking into the store about being taken advantage of as a clueless female, but i watched your video and walked in there like a bad ass and figured out what I wanted without some sales person fucking me over. Also now i know how to work them. Thanks 🙏
haha no problem glad you didn't get screwed over. I remember walking into cartoys as a teenager and they wanted $450 for some dinky 10in subwoofer and amp. I left knowing I was going to figure everything out on my own.
thats cool asf lmaoo, dw im a clueless male..i still wont be able to walk in there like a badass even after watching this vid. ive have to watch it 10 more times 😭
Awesome video! I was looking for this exact information and you explained it very well in one video. Saved me at least an hour of scouring the internet for this info. Great job!
Root Mean Squared= Average value of a random set of numbers that is then multiplied by itself. There should be a comma between the words Mean and Squared when you pronounce it. i.e. "Your answer should be the Root Mean, Squared". Volts multiplied by Volts divided by the Ohms : ex. 50volts X 50volts divided by 4ohms = 625watts.
Good video overall but one correction needs to be made: RMS is Root Means Squared which is the root (meaning taking the root of the value whether its squared,2, cubed. 3, etc.) of the mean (statistical term meaning average) squared (meaning 2).
Maybe there is a high pass filter on somewhere you would want a low pass filter, could be in the head unit settings, or on the amp. Make sure the rca is plugged into the subwoofer output on head unit. Also make sure it’s in phase. Maybe the speaker wires are reversed. Try flipping them to see if the bass sounds better
Hello, Looking for some help in choosing the correct car amplifier. For a combination of Sony speakers XS-162ES at front & XS-160ES at rear, which is a suitable amplifier among Sony XM-GS4 or XM-4ES? I require to get crystal clear sound only with some good bass. I am NOT looking for very loud sound. What are the extra things to get from XM-4ES over XM-GS4, is it only loudness or the output is far better in terms of clarity? Is it worth the price if I install XM-4ES or XM-GS4 will meet my requirements? If you can please let me know. Thanks!
hi, the GS seems like a good amp, but the ES is capable of handling high resolution audio sources and programs, but it's about double the cost. hard to say if it's worth it or no without hearing them side by side
I bought 2 duel “Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 4-Ohm” but i not sure what exact amplifier to get for it both together give 1200w im new to this please help me find the right amp for them

Great video. Very informative.

Hey Man, i installed my sub with a single din Pioneer headunit, dual channel amp, 12 inch sub. Bass is not deep at all, just mildly distorted bass.

the Rockford Fosgate r12001d should be good, run everything paralell to give you 1ohm since that amp can handle 1 ohm
Nice video bro thank you 🔈🔉🔊💪
No problem glad to help
What about a line output converter, do I need one with a factory radio
Depends, if your amp high level input then you dont,
