I don't think I've ever commented this before, but I always like all the B roll footage and comparison shots of the makeup at the beginning of the day vs the end. It just makes sense the way you do it, I really like the way these are edited.
I have mature combination skin and I really like this. I do use primer and powder as I do with all foundations. This is what I wanted the Makeup by Mario and Haus Labs foundations to be. I would pay the $18 but I got one shade at Walgreens and had a good coupon and the other at Ulta and used a coupon so not bad. All drugstore pricing is going up like everything else in the world.
@@Dianette97 My biggest issue is pores and then lines. I use the Tarte Timeless primer or the NYX Pore Filler. Both are a weird consistency, putty like. The NYX because of its packaging almost comes out in little blobs. 😂 I really press it into my pores and wrinkles. I let it sit at least a minute before putting on my foundation. It gives me the smoothest skin. I think I tried both of those primers a long time ago and didn’t use them correctly. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every high end and drugstore primer out there and nothing was giving me what I wanted. I repurchased the NYX and tried the technique of really pushing it into my skin and I was amazed. I remembered I had the Tarte one and the consistency was similar so I tried it. Both work great. I don’t get oily either. I blot right around my nose where I produce the most oil and then go about my day. My makeup lasts all day.
I thought it looked pretty decent for drug store, maybe better than the Makeup by Mario you just tried. 😊 Also, can you do a foundation favorites for oily skin up to this point, your holy grails 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You are one of the best people I watch to review foundations! How you zoom right in is awesome! You are the only person I’ve seen do this. This is an actual review you can see and I wanted to tell you THANK YOU. Keep up the good work😊
Your videos help me get out of bed and into the shower. I play them in the shower (which I hate doing) and I have associated your weekly try ons to my self care. Lol
I think I also heard someone compare it to the Lancôme Renergie Lift. I think they said Revlon owns Lancôme? (don’t hold me to that!). I currently have been trying a sample of the Renergie Lift and quite like it so if this is similar and I can find a shade match (I’m paler than Cassie) that would be cool.
@@marianneharms8799 i also tried it! It was a sample though and the shade was a little off but it’s really nice. I think if you’re looking for a skincare/foundation I would go for the pricier one because you can shade match. With the revlon one you kind of have to commit since you can’t shade match and for 18$.. but it is my personal preference if i was looking for a product like this.
Another informative review, Thank YOU! A possible con is the cost ($18) for a drugstore brand; the true test may be how it fares during the summer months ahead. Enjoyed it!
I'm SO glad that I watched your video before purchasing this because I live in Tucson 🌵 Arizona and this definitely will NOT work out for me! Also Amazon has the BEST PRICE particularly if purchased with the Subscribe and Save option! As for the cat 🐈 hair on your face, YES I most CERTAINLY DO almost ALWAYS have cat hair on my face thanks to my two fluffy children, my boy Goblin 🐾😺 and his sister Rhonda-Ronnetté🐾🐱! I'm happy to hear that I'm not alone in this regard because yes, misery DOES love company! You provided an entertaining AND very informative and THOROUGH REVIEW! Spectacular job!👍👏Love your wonderful personality, sense of humor AND Milo's input!😽 Meow!🌱🌼🌵🌼🌿
Looks like your skin type would benefit if you set this foundation with loose powder and a puff, that kills the cons you stated. Your skin looks like skin. I hate the look of cakey makeup and this didn't do that at all. I'm currently using the Revlon Photoready Candid foundation and I don't feel it or see it on my skin. It is AMAZING 😍 the only foundation I have found so far to be undetectable. I have combination skin, no pores, zero blemishes; it wears all day, does not rub off and I don't need to set it with a powder bc it's not a liquid. Looks like this on this video needs to be set. I dislike it when ppl say "for a drugstore product" like they're not giving it a break or complain about the price without considering the formula and performance, but they pay double for a "high end" thing that performs the same or less and they say it's all right 🙄 smh ...oh and Walmart sells this foundation for $12 and even less when on sale.
I had commented on your last Weekly Wear that I was curious about this foundation and what you thought😊 I'm glad to see you liked it and it seemed to go over texture really good and as a 36yo woman in the middle of Winter I have plenty of that. Just to let anyone who is thinking about getting this one it was cheaper at my local Walmart, between $13-$14. Also, a lot of times Amazon can have the lowest price on items😍
This looked great on day 1 and day 3. Let me explain why I said day 1, lol. I thought it looked beautiful on the brush side. It covered just enough without looking cakey. And of course day 3 was the best. I'm kinda surprised you found a shade match 👏 Looking at those tiles I wouldn't have thought it would be possible. BTW, LOVE the lip color you're wearing on day 3. Yes, that's a lot for drugstore foundation but if you buy from Walmart you'll always get a better price. I don't understand why Ulta has to upcharge by $3-5 on drugstore products 🧏♀️ Great review Cassie... 👍
Yay! I saw the title and said, "She got my message!" lol I agree about the price. It's hefty for drugstore. The audacity! But seriously -- thank you for testing this one out. I do like the shade range. Milo loves you! Oh, and almost forgot. The chin situation. Could be helped with blotting sheets. You could do a video to test out that theory. Benefit has The POREfessional License to Blot," and Beauty Blender has this thing called "Blotterazzi." I've seen blotting sheets though at Sally's -- Palladio rice paper blotting tissues.
Love watching your foundation reviews but the top you wear at the end of the day is the least flattering shirt I’ve ever seen on you. Don’t mean to be negative - but if I were wearing something so unflattering, I would want someone to tell me.❤
I’m sure Cassie is super concerned about offending your eyes with her clothing choices. Don’t you have anything better to do than criticize someone’s shirt?! Good grief.
This has got to be the rudest comment, Lisa! you aren’t her friend! She doesn’t need your unsolicited advice on her clothing! Who gives a shit what she wears in her vids??!?!?
The over application of the product, the often too pale color matching and expectations of 10.5 hours of wear with the at end forehead and nose finger swipes are why. Not to mention the repeated music and rotisserie chicken face spin. But hey, it's entertainment nonetheless

Hi! What primer would you recommend for mature combination skin? Thanks!

Agreed I would love to see that holy grail video!
Me three!
It’s WAY cheaper at Walmart, I think like $12
I've definitely noticed that Ulta's prices are much higher lately.
@@alyssanicole8559 yeah I would definitely check Walmart or Target b4 Ulta. It’s always more there.
It was 17 at rite aid definitely cheaper at Walmart 🤔
I would love to see a pyramid of ur all time fav drugstore foundations. Love the pyramid; gives all the dance moms nostalgia
Me too!
Yes!!!
"I've got stuff, I've got skin, I've got this foundation" is honestly my new life motto. 10/10 would buy merch.

Not to be rude, may I ask if gallbladder surgery changed your diet? I need removal.
Any updates?
Y’all, if we keep buying these super expensive drugstore foundations they’re gonna keep jacking the prices up 😭

I am so glad you did this review. I feel like this is my baby , along with the new lipsticks that were released.
This is my new favorite for my mature dry skin!
It’s a little pricey for drugstore 😭 but i think it’s a dupe for the Lancôme skincare+foundation, i think.. correct me if I’m wrong.

Drugstores take makeup back with a receipt
It’s at walmart for $12!
I’ve always loved Revlon
Hoping you’ll test the new Juvia’s Place and KVD foundations!🤞🏻
Hi Cassie, would you consider setting it with fine powder?
ok nice thank you , so what is your favortite all-time go- to foundation !??
i bought this based on how your makeup looked in your last video! glad to see a review
I wonder how that will be on.. older skin?
Nice to see Revlon dipping their toes into darker shades FINALLY.
I have mature skin and I really like it.
@@CareyXO Is it good for dry skin.
Cassie you should try the Elf Halo Liquid Glow Filter!
It is $14 at Walmart
Cass, thank you so much for your review! As always very helpful and informative! You helped me to make my decision ❤️🌹
Thank you for a thorough review. Can't wait to try this once I get a match. Hugs to your cat.
This foundation looked great on you. Good shade, looked smooth.
Thanks for the close up. Other dont do that..
Love watching your foundation reviews 🙂 they are my favourite
What about cost as a con for drugstore?
I never, never,like to give a bad comment,but.. the music today 🙃☹️
Um actually it’s very beautiful on you truly on natural skin very pretty….so yes!❤❤❤

Thank you for this thorough review as usual!! As a cat mum I always end up with cat hairs in my mouth too!!
This looks great on you! I'll check it out
It looks great- and you have beautiful skin!
Thanks for reviewing this! Been meaning to buy it. Loved the natural finish ❤

Problem don't like the problem if it dries old skin..maybe younger skins???❤

Good evening, Cassie! This looks good on you! Glad it didn't oxide for such a little light foundation!!
All prices are going up. Inflation is terrible and is going to be with us for a long time so more and more will turn to drug store makeup
Don’t speed up the application process please!! That’s my favorite part of these reviews 😢
I'm going to give this a try !
Yeah! I was hooping to see this! Hope all is well!
This looked really good on you.
I love when you do foundation reviews!!!!!!
Thank youuuu
Thank you, Cassie! I appreciate your reviews so much! ❤
Thanks as always, Cassie!❤️😘
Kitty cries in the background!🥰❤️❤️❤️
Didn’t work for mature skin you saw every pore
Ohhh, i could expect that from a dewy looking foundation although it says that it blurs pores
Bring back let’s test

Let’s test let’s test hot mess or the best 💥
I think it looks really good on you
I love your curls! (I tried this foundation. It’s ok, didn’t blow me away.)
You sound better but still little nasally 😢
I had covid fairly recently and I said the same thing. I find I still sound nasally even though I've been fine for quite a while.

What makes you say that?
This is rude. She is very professional and honest with her reviews. Give it a chance you will see she’s great at foundation reviews.
