Nicely done. After watching it a few times I appreciate that there is no commentary - poetry in motion!

The key returns to the up position from the weight of the parts resting on the back of the key via the button screw called the "capstan"

1:13 so over here, the wood stick thing will sort of "scratch" the round cotton part, so after 8000 times or 100,000 times or 500,000 times of such scratching, doesn't the round thing need a replacement because part of it is scratched off or became thin

what a pleasing pianistic touch , Daniel ;) It can be seen around 1:00 that the jack have a different position when playing than at rest (hence drop may be regulated at sufficent speed to get synchro if this is the intention) position just under the roller results in propulsion a hair back of that. the jack is compressed by the friction from the leather. thanks for the video

0:48 is that red thingy magnetic? It is like, "I have gone through the 'let off' (escapement) process and I need to come back, and I need a little help from this magnetic friend to pull me back"

What causes the key to come back up? Is it the weight of the action, or is there a spring?
