Well, nothing says you have to wear phats. I know for me I would never wear them because I'd feel like an idiot wearing them. Plus they just come across as very clique-ish, along with the names everybody gives themselves who seem to be the more serious shufflers. And phats do nothing for improving your shuffling skills so don't wear them. So ... keep your real name, don't wear phats, just shuffle. Because in the end that is what really matters. Enjoy!
Morlokx, I want to let you know to be careful with the runningman movement. When you hop, your second hop isn't as big as the first hop. The last hop looks as if it wasn't moving in the first place. I don't know if it was intentional or not but I made that mistake plenty of times. Just wanted to give the heads up.
