My wife is going to love this egg farm. She’s new to the game and likes the ranching and farming aspect a lot, thanks for sharing the build with us. Also, for anyone who had a hard time keeping up...just put the playback speed at a lower rate...makes it a lot easier :)

ahh, this was probably one of the first ark building vids i ever watched. back when vanilla didn't have any triangles... i'm glad we can make octagons much easier now, lol
this is awesome! did something like this using it as an attic for my base so while I’m forging or what not, it rains down poo and eggs. I think it’s hilarious. Sometimes they get stuck but overall it is awesome. Now I have dodos in my attic. Thanks!

I believe in order to do this build properly you need to enable clipping. which is something that is not part of a default vanilla server or official server.
Most builds on yt require clipping

The Dodo tower thing is awesome. I’m probably gonna end up using that design when I end up doing an almost unedited playthrough. Now, how to get them little birds in the top.

For those on Xbox who want to know how to invert walls, press the Y button.
To cycle through snap points when placing building pieces, like when trying to make ceilings perfectly level, press the R shoulder button, _not_ the R trigger.

I would also like to see a list of mats beforehand. I been following fizz for more than 2 yrs now i learned to just put make vault nearby with 100 of each structure and put his video in super slow mo while I copy his build

He's definitely using some kind of a mod that allows him to snap a stone wall inside a pillar at 0:50. I disabled every mod and it still wouldn't allow me to snap the stone wall inside the pillar.

what I dont recall seeing is how the eggs are collected. I didnt see a way how at the bottom to be able to access the area where they will end up
The eggs wont be at the bottom as they dont roll unfortunately
My dream on an ark server is that I run a simple farm and general store like this where it’s a neutral zone maybe like a little town or something with a farm a general store and an inn

Very nice! But the only problem I can see with it is that it might not work on official servers

one thing that def isnt possible on official - and which really sucks - is that you cannot intersect the sloped roofs on a single celing octogon :/ the last sloped roof will always be disrupted by one sloped roof.

I have tried for 2 hours to make the snap at 0:49 (the Bottom wall). it will not work for me. says that the wall is obstructed. probably by the pillar itself. i have tried everything i can think of, stone fence placement, placing a ceiling on the top wall and bringing pillars down.

You probably need to enable clipping on your server
The cipping doesn't really work as the video shows, I had to do some crazy stuff to make it work

oh hey fizz, thanks for responding! i just started ARK a few weeks ago, so noob, but im loving the game! i have a dodo pen in SP. PS4. I only need about 6 dodos to feed myself regularly. (I mean I also have a dilo pen full of females and a parasaur pen full of females too so lots of eggs everywhere). and ive placed my dodo's on benches, 3 birds to a bench, 2 benches. and the eggs drop nicely from the bench to the floor below, making it really easy to pick em up. it was a pain to position the birds. but once in place everything was all good. your designs are cool. i like your videos for creative inspiration. keep up the good work!!
Eggs totes roll down ramps bruh. Some dino’s, like the Sarco (crocodile), the eggs are underneath them and can be hard to see. Putting them on a ramp makes the egg usually roll out from under them.
The egg silo he has is in theory the best practical use for egg farms as it maximizes space and is multi levelable
