The cosplayer in the dress with the RCCC cape was amazing! I saw them walking down some stairs and was in awe of it! My video begins the same with that banner too! Lol
ABSOLUTELY fraking enjoyed watching this CMV of Rose City Comic-Con 2021!!! Each and every single one of these people look INCREDIBLE in their own cosplays I'm really glad to see that conventions are slowly, but surely making a comeback
Hey there, It's the Mandalorian in the Black, White and gold trim. It was fun being apart of this video Chong, Hope to see you next year. cause i'll be dressing up as Captain Grey from Bad Batch.
wow awesome video! i have fond memories going to fan expo and even did a 25th anniversary video on my channel! It was quite sad to see however life before the pandemic!
I didn't realize you were there! I'll have to go back through my pictures and see if I caught you at work 😁. Watched for myself in the background, but didn't see me (I was wearing a black shirt with salmon shorts all three days, so I'd be easy to find 😛).
@@ChongAhn I was looking for my older sister in the exhibit hall at one point. I found her in the distance, so I walked straight at her (head on) and she didn't recognize me, even after I walked right into her 🤣 (She was like "oh, excuse me", and I was like "Gennie!!" It was hilarious. She's only known me my whole life...)
Cosplay used to be about who could build a cool costume. Now days it's about who can buy the best costume. More than half, a lot more than half, of the costumes I saw this year at RCCC were purchased on line.
I’d argue that cosplaying is bigger than that now. Yes it’s impressive if you design and make your own cosplay from scratch but I think it’s also valid to use someone else’s design or make part of your cosplay or dare I say just buy the cosplay. It’s more about the fandom. Let them be fans of the show/movie/anime or whatever it is.
@@ChongAhn Yeahhh. You're probably right. I just get a bit bitter I guess. I'm starting to turn into the curmudgeon that starts his sentences with 'back in my day'. LoL. Thanks for the perspective my dude.

Great minds think alike! Saw her a few times around inside but her cape was sooo good when we were outside in the wind!
