What I theorize about Jax is that he was actually best friends with Queenie and Kaufmo, and that Queenie taught him to enjoy such wild and untamed pranks to cope with the pressure of being there and that Kaufmo made him feel more relaxed and willing to do them with jokes. When Queenie abstracted, it upset Jax and Kaufmo because she helped them learn to cope and stop themselves from abstracting, and then Kaufmo abstracted which pained Jax too much that he ran away instead of wanting to face his friend after Kaufmo went insane, which is why he left Ragatha and Pomni to deal with the abstracted Kaufmo alone. He told Gangle and Kinger Kaufmo was fine, but he was more trying to comfort himself with the pain of losing the last person he was genuinely very close too in the Amazing Digital Circus. I also theorize that he does have the exit key, but wanted to escape with Kaufmo, but his friend abstracted before they could, so Jax decided to stay suffering in the circus with Pomni and the others because he feels closer to Kaufmo and Queenie more there.

Ever since jax was in the circus he was always the youngest one and he had all the keys 🔑 he tried to find the exit every day and trying to unlock it but failed so respect to jax and kinger was here the oldest and his wife queener got abstracted and kinger has been depressed all the time done.
Basically : Ragatha is kind but her emotions can take over her, meaning she has a more likely chance to abstract. Pomni is new we don't know much, but she shows that her anxiety takes over sometimes. Ragatha is kind but her emotions can take over her, meaning she has a more likely chance to abstract.
Pomni is new we don't know much, but she shows that her anxiety takes over sometimes.
Kinger is the same expect he has it worse, to where he went insane but didn't abstract.
Zooble is too lost to even abstract
Gangle is too emotional but that doesn't mean she'll abstract, because of a broken mask
