Bands are just starting to come back in Pakistan as well - Call was formed in 2005 and disbanded maybe in 2009. If you remember that song “Laree Chooti” from that Abhay Deol movie (Ek Chalis Ki last local I think), that was Call. They got back together a couple of years ago to revive Pakistani rock.....and succeeded because Pepsi Battlr of the Bands season 2 (this show) came back after the first season being in 2002! They were celeb performers here, not contestants.
M glad they brought back rock. I never knew that was call in the "Laari Chooti" song, thanks for the trivia. This time they should bring rock with them. I loved their performance. hope I could see them live some day.

Yasir Usama yes there are some political parties, specifically here in Maharashtra. They don't let go of any chance to cash in on the fame of the celebrities. There are plenty of politicians who gained a name for themselves this way. Be it the movement of boycotting Pakistani Artists during the release of Aae dil hain mushkil or the protest against padmavat it was all the same. And trust me behind the cameras they all are friends and even Controversies are staged because being in news makes both the parties involved relevant.
I seriously think that when people are reacting to music and songs, they should stick to the quality of music, song writing, technicalities, and the musicians instead of talking of how a guy looks or how the music can be used anywhere. If you can't talk about such things in reactions, then don't do it, please.
