You forgot one important detail of her life. She bought a tiny house on the beach in Malibu when she was 11 - I think for 50k and sold it in 2016 for nearly 5 million. Smartest of the Bradys. Thanks for this, I did not know about her many acting gigs post Brady.

I was in 2nd grade and she was in 5th grade at a private school in Van Nuys. I used to talk with her while we waited for our parents picked us up from school.

Her and I were in the same class, either the 4th or 5th grade, don't remember for sure. It was on Bassett st. When she got picked for the part our teacher had her stand up in class and tell everyone what she was up too.

Eve had a very memorable guest role on Family Affair as Buffy’s sick friend who would not live until Christmas. She was amazing. Quite the talent for a child actor in a very emotional role.

I'm always ready for a Brady Bunch reunion! We've already lost Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and Ann B. Davis - the Brady kids aren't getting any younger and there will come a time when not all six kids will be around any longer, so the more we can enjoy all six kids together as much as we can, the better!

I grew up watching the Brady Bunch & @ 57 years of age, I still watch the Brady Bunch to this day.
I saw a video of her singing and she can BLOW! She's got a hell of a voice. After that, I started paying more attention to old Brady Bunch episodes where she sang. She had a strong voice as a kid, too. Eve Plumb is definitely no joke!
Funny how I always looked at Jan Brady as the one that never got a fare shake. Now I see that she had it going on the whole time. Good for her ! I do remember ' The Facts of Life ' episode where she wanted to be a Nun.
Aww my favorite show since my sister and I were the same age as Jan and Marcia. Every Friday night it was MANDATORY that we watched The Brady Bunch ALL THE TIME!

For some reason I was always attracted to Jan more than I was to Marcia.
I just watched season 5 and I agree, she was more attractive by then. I wonder if that caused problems.

I think that more Brady Reunions should happen and I really LOVED watching The Brady Renovation:)!! It was so awesome to see the Brady Set to become the Brady House:)!! However, I am glad that Eve Plumb continued her acting career on T.V., Movies, and on Stage as well as flexed her artistic talents:)!! Still, with all the evil things that happen in our world as well as this Covid-19 Pandemic, I will always have a place in my heart for Eve Plumb's innocent feel good role of Jan Brady:)!! Like one of the people who was renovating the house in the Brady Renovations said, "The Brady Bunch embodied all that is good in America":)!! And my favorite episode was "Lost Locket; Found Locket", when Alice ( played by Ann Davis) shared a bond with Jan by giving her a Locket that was given to Alice by her favorite Aunt to show Jan that she too is very loved in the Family as a middle child:)!!!
Eve is by far the coolest Brady. No mention of the indie rock band of the 90's that was named after her. Also the totally badass role in the 2013 indie rural noir film Blue Ruin.

I see she avoided a lot of the pitfalls of stardom. No drug rehab. No multiple marriages & divorces. Glad her family network, already in the entertainment field, kept her safe. Jan was the Brady girl you had a chance to date. George Glass was her pretend boyfriend. Marcia was pretty and she knew it. Cindy was too young.

I liked all the Bradys, but Eve and Chris Knight were nearest my age and were my favorites. In the 1970s, the show was the best part of the week for me and my sister. I considered Eve's hair to be beyond gorgeous. I admired it to no end, and especially admired the style with the bow in back. I tried to grow my hair as long as hers but never quite achieved waist length. It is gratifying to see how sensibly Eve has lived her life and to see her accomplishments! I wish her all the best!

Eve was always my favorite Brady. I did not realize that she was two years younger than me.
Everyone chanted Marcia, Marcia, Marcia but Eve Plumb was the one true hotey of the show. Watching her blossom from a cute girls into a lovely young woman over the course of the show are some of the fondest memories of my youth. Thank you, Ms, Plumb. I wish you continued success.

When I was 11 years old, Me and My Family went on vacation in California and My Brother Mark saw and pointed out Eve Plumb on the San Francisco boardwalk as She was approaching My Family. She was very friendly and let Me and My 2 Brothers have a photo taken with Her. And My Mom happened to have a photo of Eve Plumb that She(Eve Plumb) autographed.

Eve Plum was also in an episode of That 70's Show; season 1, episode 6, The Keg. She played Mrs. Burkhart, Jackie Burkhart's mother who was a real estate salesperson, showing a house where the gang were having a kegger in the pool in the backyard.
I always thought Eve Plumb was prettier than Maureen McCormack. That long, blonde hair drove me nuts when I was a kid.

Jan was my favourite Brady. I always felt sorry for her.
Growing up on TV when there were only 3 stations to choose from, I would see her on other shows and she displayed a poise and maturity rare of children her age. I saw her an episode of Family Affair, playing a girl dying of (cancer?). She nailed it perfectly! Sooo underrated.
Eve also was not 'against' reprising her role as Jan for the horrendous 'brady bunch hour' - she was willing to do a appear in a few, almost kind of like a guest role, she just did not want to sign a long contract and commit to a weekly grind which may have limited her opportunities for other roles
She express her self in her paintings. I have on on the wall and it brightens up the room and keeps the walls from cracking.

Trivia bit on her Here's Lucy appearance! If you look closely at the scenes where they're watching Donny Osmond on stage her character is actually wearing "Marcia's" old party dress from the season one episode of "Brace Yourself"! Incindentally she also made a brief appearance on the soap I watch Days of Our Lives several years ago!

I think that Eve Plumb made the right decisions for herself especially in the roles she played as she transitioned from child star to adult star, painter, artist. She had the family background to help her see it through as well.
I'm glad all the children actors in Brady Bunch are all alive and kicking. May they all live to be 100.

In the HGTV mini-series, Eve Plumb provided some of her own paintings for the renovation of the Brady girls' room. When she was interviewed separately, as each actor was, she was very self-deprecating. When asked how people react to her in public she said something like, "That'll be $2.95 for the coffee, ma'am." All of the former child actors were great in these interviews, very down-to-earth, but Eve Plumb's understated manner was especially noteworthy.
I was glad to have met Maureen Mc Cormick but, would have been cool to have met Eve Plumb as well. I liked the whole cast very much.
Eve was my favorite Brady as well. I know this is about Eve, but in the Variety Hour picture at 2.22 you can see all the "Brady girls" in midriff baring outfits, including Maureen. What's interesting is Maureen was very sensitive about her looks and wouldn't allow her bikini clad scenes to show anything during the Hawaii episodes. But you can plainly see she had nothing to worry about. All three are very pretty.
Not just Eve Plumb, but i really enjoyed The Brady Bunch. :)

And not sped up; and not with end credits bludgeoned to the bottom and music MIA, like TV Land, Hallmark Channel, Lifetime and others are notorious for.

Of all the Brady characters, Jan was the most relatable for a middle child, more so than Peter.
I had the biggest crush on Marcia but Jan had my heart because I was a middle child and felt bad for her when things didn't go as planned for her.

I have always loved Eve Plum.
Jan was my favorite on The Brady Bunch. Probably because there were eight kids in my family and I was the middle of the three girls. My older sister was always the pretty one, the popular one and I was plain but brainy and I grew up jealous of her, Well,...things change. The older kid grows up too fast and makes all the mistakes. The smart younger one sees that and does things differently and things go better. I won’t go into detail, but let’s just say I wouldn’t trade places with her now for anything in the world.

There's only one Brady reunion I would so look forward to. It was after the 2 Brady big screen movies came out, when I came up with the idea of a great one: "The Bradys and The Partridges Stranded On Gilligan's Island". With so many {a variety of} characters, just think of all the various possibilities of storyline ideas that could be thought and conjured up. I will, um, leave "all that" up to your own imaginations of ideas. Lol.

I can still see lots of comic opportunities with the Brady Bunch material but that time is rapidly declining. I really loved seeing her in an episode of Crashing in 2019. She did an excellent job and, although I recognized her, I didn't really think of Jan Brady at all. She is a very accomplished actress.
