The trap is real and affects businesses of any size, even divisions or departments of those businesses. I've been following Profit First for many years now and it's transformed how I look at my finances. It also allowed me to pinpoint other severe shortfalls in my business that I might otherwise have never had the clarity to notice! Ultimately allowing me to see that my business was not profitable, at least not without a serious pivot.
