Hey all, bit of a different style of video today. The channel is still new so I'm experimenting with different video styles, but I've got more gameplay focused videos on the way. What should I have for the focus of my next gameplay video, and what modes should I play in? Also, the support this past week has been crazy. I've been posting The Finals for about a week and so many of you enjoyed my videos, which is amazing to me. Thanks to all of you who subscribed or even clicked on a video! I'm still improving at editing, so hopefully you will see the quality of my videos improve the more I upload. Let me know what you think of this commentary video style, and if I should do more like this!
Heavy Grenade Launcher main here - while this gun is obviously very situational it does a great job at countering the tightly-knit packs of heavy/medium players that you run into once you hit plat and higher. I love it.
Bro im sure as hell the mgl32 isn't D tier. Sure sometimes its easy to counter them, just by simply putting range between you and the heavy. Other than that time, however, its really like you can't kill them and there's no counter to them.
Lewis gun S tier? Maybe i need to try it out. It was only today i was picking between the m60 and that. Tried both in the practice arena and the recoil was horrendous.
m60 is far easier to control but if you can manage the lewis gun's recoil (it's hard to do but possible) it outclasses almost every other heavy gun, especially at range
@@ronin_fps that makes sense. Yes I prefer not to deal with weapons that have chaotic recoil as it makes what is meant to be enjoyable not so much half the time. Interesting though I havn't noticed it at all so far in my ranked. I am only gold though so we will see if it pops up more as I climb
Bro the KS 23 is honestly underrated asf, ottr said it was C tier but I knew the versaitility is good, im not playing any gun other than the ks 23 so I can get used to it incase if I wanna play ranked
The only thing I gotta say it the Heavy Grenade Launcher is a lot better then most people think it just the biggest problem is it's a support weapon not a dmg weapon and bc it's a grenade Launcher everyone assume it's a dmg and destruction weapon and I'm not saying it not but it's more of a support weapon used to play from distance or to help you tm8 get killed by have a area of damage and a destruction. But idk Iv been using it since day 1 and iv gotten diamond with it so maybe it's just a good weapon for me😅😅
AK is good but I find the Famas way more useful for TTK.. I enjoyed the AK when I was new to the game and needed those extra bullets in a mag to finish off a kill but once you get the recoil and burst pattern down I swear Famas drops people way quicker. It really just comes down to preference or opinion like you said tho.
Top sledge player here and I would put sledge at a the ability to manipulate the building your in is HUGE for players who are good. with charge and slam there is not a tourney I don’t have 30+ kills but I might just have perfected the crayon eating brain
THEY REDUCE THE DAMAGE FOR LMG AND FOR SOME REASON MAKE THE M60 EASIER TO CONTROL AND MAKE THE LEWIS GUN HARDER TO CONTROL. THEY NERF THE LEWIS GUN WAY TOO MUCH
I still like the Lewis gun as it’s pretty much the only heavy gun you can use at range, but the KS is pretty good rn especially with claw. I think using both with double heavy might be the play this season
Duel blades gotta be A. It’s a really strong weapon specially when you’re sticking with your team carry a turret if you’re solo and you can solo team wipe if you play right.

The flamethrower with winch claw, pyro mines, gas grenade, and the motion sensor have been an amazing combo for me lately. I can use the pyro mines for splash damage and kill quickly with yhe flamethrower, gas grenade to hold objectives or apply area comtrol, motion sensor to help with prediction and getting information, and the winch clae to secure kills, separate the team, or grab objectives has been very solid and a fantastic loadout. Its pure fun and i dont want to use anything else at all.
The mgl32 can be shockingly effective in the right persons hands. Do not write it off, it is hard but you need to think with bomb logic. Not gun logic.
Man I saw the video I had my hopes up for the MGL32...but you confirmed my doubt. Anyway I'll continue to use it, at first it was really hard but after lot of hours (practice + world tour) with it, I now feel like I can bring a lot of value with it. I love that gun. Nice vid keep up the good work.
just because the gun isn't meta doesn't mean you cant use it! If you practiced it and have fun with it there's no reason to stop unless you are in a diamond 1 lobby or something like that
Good video. Try pausing between transitions from one weapon to the next so viewer can have time to look at the tier list. Now animation is too fast. Also I would like to add few comments regarding the weapons: 1. I wouldn't call the last category as D tier. I would call it a NICHE. Why? D is usually the worst weapon that can't be used by anyone. A total garbage. For example riot shield, as someone mentioned here in the comments, is not bad at all, it just requires some practise to master it. It really strong melee weapon, that easy can stay impactful even on top ranks. Even average player can utilise it properly after few games since it's not that hard to just turn yourself a bit right to deflect bullets passively. Roughly speaking ofc. 2. New swords however, is not a niche. They just garbage. They cannot fully block damage, they cannot passively block damage and most importantly - they don't have such big magnetism as shield has. When you near the player in most cases you must aim by yourself, which sometimes being really hard versus some light players. Plus, it doesn't have attack animation canceling, which means you cannot use deflect when you've already started your attack which makes you an easy target for any enemy that can move from you away for a few meters if you missed your strikes. I'm playing with shield often, and was playing with it on platinum last season(didn't have time to get it to diamond) and want to say that swords are just really bad... 3. Also I wouldn't say that FCAR is hard to use. It has really ez recoil pattern and it still can be used by anyone after few hours of practice. Just compare it with M60 and you will see the gun with true awful recoil. The reason why it become A tier now is due to nerfs, which is fine. AK right now has almost the same damage with more ammo. Ofc FCAR will be pushed down... 4. Bow should be at NICHE tier. It has really good damage, it doesn't have sound of the shot so on some maps you can stay hide for a long time. It's not really good or really bad. It's just not for everyone. 5. I would also swap few weapons from A and B tiers. Shotty with Sniper and KS-23 with the Hammer. Sniper is one of the strongest weapons in the game which dealing a lot of damage on any distance, has zero bullet drops, almost hit scan and can be really OP on some maps. Shotty now is much more weaker than before and basically is a weapon of one mistake. Same with KS-23. It's fine, but hammer has much more utilities and impact for now, especially with hook. Heavies basically now can easily oneshot lights and 2 shots medium with hammer+hook combination wich is REALLY strong.
I'll keep in mind what you said about swapping the name of D tier to Niche - I don't think a lot of people realized that I wasn't trying to say that their gun was unusable, just highly situational
That's actually a really great list. I have some small disagreements, but only 2 worth mentioning. I still think the fcar is better than the akm, specially in TA, bc of its higher dmg, and I wouldn't say the heavies' LMG are nearly as good as they used to be after the nerfs (I'd definitely put them one rank below, both of them). Other than that, really great work. Nice editing and background gameplay, just really good quality overall. You earned a sub
as someone who pushed to top 1k with riot shield last season, I have to disagree slightly. I do agree that its not the most meta weapon, but with some practice it can hold its own in high ranks, especially against rifles. my biggest issue is the idea that sword is better, for one, you have to block to stop any damage at all, while with riot shield you can just use the shield while not blocking, shield blocks all damage while sword only blocks a bit, and the swings from a riot do more damage. because you can stop damage without blocking, you can close distance a lot better,. overall i think sword just has a much lower potential skill ceiling
I appreciate the ability of the sword to do ranged chip damage at times, and that alone makes it a more team oriented weapon in my personal experience which is why I rate it higher. I would agree that you can do some great stuff with the riot shield and there is a higher skill ceiling and potential though (off the top of my head, I remember there is a way to get rid of mines with the shield)
On top of that riot shield is much more consistent with blocking cause dual blades often have issue with hit/block register. The only scenario where I think blades are better is when you run into a lot of melee users, since blades can block their attacks when riot shield can't. Also fireflask
@@Daniellos49PL sorry on the late response but riot shield can actually fully negate all melee attacks but light sword charge. It is a very hard angle to block though, but it is very possible
The thing is, different modes get more/less out of certain weapons. Like I think spear and dual blades are downright S tier for Power Shift but other modes not so much
After several changes to it, I think the Lewis Gun isn't really above the M60 anymore. I had many situations where the additional ammo on the M60 just saved me.
I like Grenade Launcher very much but I have to admit that is a bad weapon and needs a Buff, pretending that they explode upon impact with an enemy or that there is a chance that will explode when they touch a surface.
You have a good eye when it comes to pairing spec's to weapons, I love trying to work with weirder weapons, so I have some insights on the lower tiered offerings. hope it helps. Flamethrower: You can spray just over the heavy's Barricade and still hit enemies behind it allowing to damage the enemy without exposing yourself. place mine and C4 on ceilings to quicky "tap" with your flames. you can proc any mine or c4 without hurting yourself with good positioning. very defensive weapon. Riot Shield: Put a sticker on your shield, if you can clearly see it without seeing your shield's handle when blocking you can pretty much block any frag or explosion that's within 2m of you. the core of a pyro nade will stick on your shield. causing alot more damage than a normal pyro nade. Smokes and APS are you friend.
I already know that there will be crazy good bow players who dont miss a single shot that will ruin it for the rest of us cause it wont get buffed cause of them lol
I do hope they add more unique weapons that are actually viable competitively. I do feel like we see the same things dominating every lobby and I just like to have fun with different stuff so it gets old pretty fast. Some more variety would really help this game out.

Dagger is by far the most fun weapon to use once you have mastered it in my experience. I got an insane amount of clips and overall enjoyed playing it. Wish it was in B tier at least :(
It’s super fun, but in terminal attack and high ranked cash out it just doesn’t have versatility. You can still do great with it though :) it’s not so much about how lethal a weapon is in certain situations but more about the value it brings to your team at all moments in the game. Definitely a very fun weapon though
@@ronin_fpsyea the list was well put from your opinion and point of view but I will say the Heavy Grenade Launcher M8 should be higher just most people play it wrong it's not a dmg type weapon put it's a support weapon meant to cause pressure and confusion also bc its area damage it makes it easier for you to stay back a little kinda shadow your teammates then when they get into a fight you can just shoot from behind them doing area damage making it easier for your teammates to get picks. But yk this is just my opinion I have mained the weapon since console release and I always felt this away about it..(also did you know the heavy grenade Launcher got a small secret nerf this season that was never mentioned) (it makes the grenade explode alittle fester and that kinda limits the delayed shots and distance shots are little shorter now bc they explode sooner)

I used to *HATE* the KS in season 2 but after the rate of fire buff they gave it this season, its honestly pretty alright.

lewis feels so bad after the s3 patch. id argue m60 or auto shotty for s instead of lewis. also flame and bow r b for sure.

Personal opinion the grande Launcher of the heavy is better than the one of the medium coz is a little faster and has a magazine of 6 bullets

yeah, I mentioned in the vid that I was basing this list off of terminal attack and world tour - power shift is a whole other meta!

That heavy GL requires some skill because you need to understand how the shot travels and till this day it is my favorite weapon 🎉❤

the combo of using stun gun then cloak and then pulling out the m11 can shred any class so quick as long as u pick the off from their pack
