I'd love it if you could do videos on certain swimming technique aspects, like dissecting a stroke and cover just the pull or recovery, or upper body, or the kick, etc. You don't have to disclose your secrets, just the basics I suppose.
Love this kind of vlog...unscripted, real insight into your experiences. Also enjoyed your quick fire questions with other pro swimmers. Think I've enjoyed all your vlogs...variety of content has always been interesting.
the vlogs are great and me personally i love watching training where you describe your set, walk through it, especially since you have such a different style of training
I always enjoy seeing you swimming, as in seeing your swimming technique. Also what and how much you take to yourself before and after races/training. So basically the educational stuff. So the stuff that improves your swimming. Going into specifics, the butterfly technique is what interests me the most. Cause I'm currently training on that and could use some advice.
So glad you’re back Michael! I would love to see more technique analysis/tips from you. You seem very knowledgeable and I’m sure there is a lot we could learn from you.
Micheal do you think it’s better to have a balanced diet with some sugary foods to help build fat into muscle or have an all healthy diet, what do you do and do you eat sugary foods sometimes?
Hey brooo, welcome back. Would you pls teach us a few ways of how you roll after working out and also show us your diet. That’ll be awesome! Sending love from Singapore~
Definatly meets are awsome, I'm about to go to my first meet ever‼️ so showing warm ups and what to do basically lol, you know what your doing AWSOME‼️ Just be you💫
I really love this fun vlog style. You seem genuinely happy doing it and it shows. I think you should do like a weekly vlog of this style and then like an educational swimming video. That would be cool
Awesome Vlog... can you emphasis a little on what you do for recovery? Chiropractor? Massage? How often? And also does practicing in short coarse yards affect your performance when racing in long coarse meters? If yes, how do you deal with that and if no, please explain :) YOU ROCK 🙏
I love the vlog style content! I'm not a swimmer but watching your journey is inspiring which to me is so valuable. I'm cool with you mixing in educational type content with the vlogs - will still watch. Keep it up!
To decide how to tell a story, first know what the story is and who your audience is. Narrative Sciences 101. You seem to at least intuitively know that already, so thinking through the process more deliberately should be no challenge. One of my favorite examples is Larry Kasdan's script for Raiders of the Lost Ark: within the first exciting 5 minutes the entire rest of the movie is foreshadowed. So, chronological or non-chronological story-telling is really more about the story you want to tell than it is about time. Good luck and welcome back.
Honest question, not trying to come off as a hater: You clearly have a ton of versatility in being able to sprint competitively in all four strokes. Do you ever think about training for longer distances to prep for the 200 or 400 IM? You could seriously be a medal contender in those in Tokyo.
I love this style of vlogs it’s kinda fun to see what you do with your swimming and life in general! Keep it up! Wouldn’t mind some swimming technique videos!
Hey Michael, I love your vlogs and the content you make, as it really helps with my swimming and inspires me a lot! I’m always in awe as to how elite athletes/swimmers are so good at what they do, and having an insight to your life is amazing to see your determination, dedication and how motivated you get! I absolutely love your vlogs and the content you create!! ❤️Nicole❤️
Love the vlog style but would also love a video designated to meet nutrition. My 12 year old is picky and unsure of what/when she should be eating before her races. Thanks :)
Welcome back! Love the blog style videos. Just do those until you have a good idea for something more structured to intersperse. Always love your underwater footage!
Since you are a pro-swimmer it’s already a huge thing that you make time/effort filming your journey/experiences through your meets and trainings. I think we get enough content because you tell us all about your races or about the swim meet even if you can’t make b-rolls or GoPro content. And you film a lot when you travel or when you are chilling between sessions. When you are at a meet it’s totally understandable that you can’t film since swimming is your job and it’s pretty hard to keep thinking about filming something when you have an important race! So just keep up what you are doing because we get a pretty good insight!! :)
This was one of your most unpolished vlogs, and it worked out well. I like the raw style. Shows how much you are just like us at meets.
Thanks brother
I'd love it if you could do videos on certain swimming technique aspects, like dissecting a stroke and cover just the pull or recovery, or upper body, or the kick, etc. You don't have to disclose your secrets, just the basics I suppose.

I'm curious about you eating Chipolte. I was under the impression that you were on the keto diet. Doesn't that kick you out of ketosis?

You should do videos about meets, your training, recovery routines, and diet

It would be great to have some thing educational ab swimming in like every vid you make🙌🏻
Do you do any weight training you are obviously very strong but I don’t hear you talking about it much
I believe videos or Vlogs like this one are better
Ekaterina Avramova is from my country- Bulgaria.
I'm doing a reaction time project so what do you think affects reaction time?
I didn’t missed because I always watched you in the swimming competition 👌🏻😂

Finally!! 😭🙌
I think that there is no need to edit heavy a video , I like your videos the way they are
