This documentary raises serious concerns about rising chronic health issues, social exploitation and environment destruction caused by transnational food corporations motivated only be profit. The film in particular discusses the social concerns of the commodification of food resources. The authors suggest tougher regulation is required to ensure agribusiness stakeholders do not accumulate too much power over food supply. However when considering culture as the force that undermines the decisions we make, its misguided to attempt to regulate the symptoms (i.e. corporate exploitation) of imprudent social values founded by capitalist ideology. Another approach should be to target society's values and shift from a culture of ownership and accumulation to minimalism and generosity.
