Danny Crawford seems like the only respectable ref. He is respected by the players, he explains the reasoning of his calls clearly, and he doesnt throw out players for staring at him or trying to make their case.
And he actually admits the times he;s wrong instead of making some BS up

Watching Tim Danaughy at 1:25 just staring... I was wondering hard, what was going though that prick's mind at that moment. He was probably thinking how many points the margin had to be and what he had to do to make that happen.
The Bavetta convo was in code. Being aware of tempos and plays to make and not make meaning in relation to momentum they need to be on the positive side of the vegas line.

Tim Donaghy was the official you refer to, he is late in the clip, with Dick Bevetta and Jimmie Clark. Met once, arrogant, unfriendly douchebag. Pretty much every other refereee I have ever met (probably about thirty of them total, many multiple times), were honest, hard working, and tried to call games to the best of their abilities.
Guy above me sounds like a planted spokesperson for the NBA.

Hi Garrett. Unfortunately the NBA was only wiring the refs for a few years, 2000-2004 I think. That's why these clips are so old. Just based on the rules, play on shouldn't exist. Its the officials selecting which rules should be enforced and when instead of just enforcing the rules like it should be

i don't like that the nba refs apologize all the time to calm down the players. if you make a decision you make that decision because you were 100% sure about it. You shouldn't apologize to the players to try to make them stop protesting. either eject them or show some authority
