    Great video.. but tip 4: if they don’t pay after 3 times of asking. WD40 on a dry mop across their windows does the trick.. has never failed me.. she has mistaken your kindness as weakness!

    Brilliant video, any tips on marketing/getting customers?

      Hi Ben, thanks so much for the comment, really appreciate it. I think that's a whole video in itself. And everything has changed so much. When I started I did Google AdWords and paid 30p a click and get good clients that I still have to this day but that's not an option anymore after companies like bark inflated that market.
      Basically, there's no secret other than just don't give up. Do all the free things like social media, Google my Business ect and just don't give up. Keep posting, keep getting reviews, keep putting on images. It takes time but it snowballs. Good customers bring good customers so do a referral discount scheme.
      Basically there's no secret, just hard work and determination to get your brand out there and slowly the phone starts ringing 👌👍
      All the best with everything 😁

    I was a window Cleaner for 7 years and I’m just putting things in place to start on my own from January next year.
    I’m wondering whether to start off traditional and just use a backpack for difficult windows, uneven ground etc.
    I’ve got to buy a van and other equipment so I’m just wondering

    • @GlideLtd
      @GlideLtd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice one bro. Yes I was in a car 10 years ago with a backpack, nothing wrong with it.
      If it was me, I would invest in the back pack, a 18-25ft pole like the gardiner CLX or SLX, and 4 or more 25l containers, it will pay for itself. And also trad stuff for when you run out of water and build it from there as the jobs come in. All the best with everything bro

      @@GlideLtd thanks bro
      Yeah I’ve just set up with a spotless water account as I have a pure water station by me.
      Will definitely purchase the Gardiner poles
      Cheers

    • @GlideLtd
      @GlideLtd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great bro 👍 yea you can pick up a CLX18 for £145 plus vat. That will do you for all 2 storey windows and then you can add up to 3 more sections in the future if you get bigger jobs 👊 with the Gardiner back pack, tax, and shipping you'll be paying about £330. Then you only need some containers and your good to go 👊

      just use the customer's water?

    • @almilhouse9059
      @almilhouse9059 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@silentgrind34 pure water is the bees knees.... using ordinary tap water will leave marks, streaks and likes of water spots on the glass....
      Pure water this elevates these issues

    5:20 this person obviously didnt wanted to pay. Thats not Because You were rude at all Thats just the reason She used at the end to justify but She never had intention to pay

    • @GlideLtd
      @GlideLtd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea she didn't want to pay and me being "rude" was enough to give her a moral superiority to not pay. So always got to be professional even when clients aren't 👍👊

    Hi
    Very good, i am interested to know how much days these are cost for semi house, or per window for pricing purposes is??
    As a new comer to business
    Will appreciate your advice with some figures?
    Thanks

    • @GlideLtd
      @GlideLtd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kavos, unfortunately it's just not possible to compare prices as there's just too many variables such as, the house, access, how often, location, travel time ect ect. One semi could be £5 and one semi could be £50.
      You've got to work out your own pricing structure. Work out what you need in a day to cover your expenses and wage and go from there 👊
      All the best mate 👍👊

      Thanks for the comment. I'm sure you are correct but what I learned from that I have used when future clients have tried the similar tactics and I never have had someone not pay since, even when they try. Many thanks, Dom
