Viviz debuted on 2/9/2022 but all three members, Eunha, SinB and Umji, were part of Gfriend, that debuted in 2015. So you are right that they are adults and industry veterans. They do different kinds of music and put out quality work consistently. You should also check out their performance video "Untie".

It is funny that you mentioned that VIVIZ sounded like sirens because in their previous group GFriend they released an album called Song of the Sirens and the comeback song from that was Apple. They play good girls gone bad as they fall for the temptation of the Apple 🍎 and are drawn by the sirens which sing in the chorus. The video is truly iconic and one that every Kpop fan should watch at least once. VIVIZ of course are heavily involved in the video as they are 3 members of 6 member GFriend.
The VIVIZ members are 10 year professionals in the industry. Eunha, the cute one with dark hair under the desk, is 26 years old whilst the other 2 members are 25 years old. So they are far from being minors these days. This allows them to bring confidence and maturity to their performances with a liberal dose of sexiness here and you can watch them with guilt free enjoyment unlike many Kpop groups today.
They are half of GFriend and still regard Sowon as their leader even though she is not in VIVIZ. She was the eldest and leader in GFriend and has always been mom to her 5 naughty children in that group. All the other members still adore her and she continues to go out with them for meals and visits every member to support them during their comebacks. In Queendom, VIVIZ even rang her on the show to ask her advice on what song they should perform next week! They will reunite as OT6 one day the family bond is still so strong and maybe even as soon as next year. Source Music terminated their contracts 6 months early with just 4 days notice and shocked the entire Kpop world as well as traumatising their fans. They said they all wanted to re-sign their contracts and stay together for 15 years but were cruelly disappointed. They made their company rich singlehandedly and brought the company from the brink of bankruptcy only to be slapped in the face like that.
@@AreolaGrandeXD the figures I have seen is that losses trebled since GFriend left Hybe. $1,5 million in 2021 rising to $4.8 million dollars in the year ending in 2022. Source Music made nearly $2million profit up to 2017 but then lost less than half a million dollars each year on the following 2 years. Once Hybe bought 80% of Source Music the losses trebled as more and more money was put into Source Music to pay for the training of their new group and to invest heavily in big budget videos for GFriend. Staffing quadrupled to cope with all the extra workload and costs spiralled out of control. Poor management and excessive expenditure led to these unsustainable losses only made possible by the cash rich parent company providing millions of dollars of investment towards its long term goal of a new girl group.

@@AreolaGrandeXD it was the management who failed. Did you know that fans used to ask soumu to restock gf albums but they refused to restock it after the album sold out? And so that the album sales become stagnant, if this is the case, who's to blame?
@@AreolaGrandeXDactually that is not true. The debt was made by the cost of the training of leeserafim and the bad management. GFriend and soushit were free of debt since 2017, that's why hybe wanted them. Thanks to GFriend they were able to buy a new building bigger and nicer, get more staff, and enter the top 50 of companies with best economical behavior of kpop in 2018. GFriend was one of the highest payed idol groups in SK until 2021.
And if you don't believe it, that is the reason why hybe tried to get the rights of the name +60 times, most of then hiding it from the members, but at the end the government said that the ones that deserves the rights by the public, it's GFriend members and not the company.

Literally GFriend in just one performance were making 5M KW or 20K dollars (by experts). GFriend took soushit to the top 20 of best kpop companies in terms of money. They bought a new building to go out from the basement. Staff, awards and recognition.

You have to watch the VIVIZ performance video of Untie, as it will blow your mind. It is actually a double A side with Maniac although it was supposed to be just a B side originally. Beyoncé’s choreographer is working with VIVIZ and created the choreography for both Maniac and Untie. No wonder we get lots of pelvic rotations and in Untie even chest pops.
The full choreography of Maniac is fire 🔥 and is best seen in their Maniac dance practice video. But Untie is on another level. The company wanted Maniac as the comeback song but VIVIZ said they wanted Untie, so the company compromised and gave them a sensational performance video instead for it and let them switch to Untie to promote on music shows after doing Maniac first. You are seriously missing out big time if you never watch Untie.
What a coincidence that you mentioned svt in during viviz, umji and sinb are really close friends with seungkwan and our angel moonbin, and they're often spotted hanging out off cam. Also sinb is moonbin's childhood best friend. A lot of fans were heartbroken when sinb wasn't able to attend the funeral because of a schedule that couldn't be cancelled. Also her letter for bin saying "i'll take care of auntie, uncle, and sua like you always asked me to. I thought we are gonna grow old together but turns out i will be the only one getting old" kbye i'm gonna go cry now T^T
It is a coincidence that you mentioned Seventeen in your VIVIZ reaction, as two members of VIVIZ are great friends with Seungkwan who they went to school with together with the much missed and sadly departed Moon Bin formerly in Astro. GFriend performed an iconic award show stage with Seventeen performing together some of their most famous songs that is still talked about today, especially the cute moments where some members were asking out with flowers some GFriend members. The crowd went wild 🤪 Haha. 😜

Viviz doesn't have an official leader (someone has explained the reason). But yeah, regarding the leader role, since there are only 3 members, they rotate the leader position for each comeback. For this comeback the leader is Eunha, the next cb leader will be Umji, and then Sinb, back to Eunha, and so on.
They actually said that they have this sistema because the company asked them, but the leader for them is sowon

for the (G)I-DLE mv, the darker theory is that the girls had a very toxic/abusive relationship with the same guy but only Minnie survived while the other girls didn't. This is supported by each girls having different settings as if they're trapped in the same place where they are last seen with the man: Soyeon inside the yacht- DV, Miyeon in the pool- drowned, Shuhua in the car- car accident, Yuqi at home- possible DV or fire. And at the end, while they're all in the yacht, they're smiling as if their souls are finally at rest after Minnie shot the guy.
Some people also theorize that Minnie is alone and only dreaming after reading the red book (which is probably the plot of the mv) or like she's stuck in a bad marriage and this is what she fantasizes her life would become. An extension of this theory is that she's in a bad relationship/marriage but she's too in love to leave (also explains the bridge 'i want that psychotic kinda love) hence she can only dream about being free.
Another theory is that Minnie has developed multiple personalities from going through so much trauma and the other girls are representations of these personalities. and in the end, she's able to overcome her fear and face the man.
