Just to add to this..from my own personal experience with battling fear and anxiety...it has been my experience over 25 plus years that it is not always black and white. Sometimes God needs to HEAL us first from our past traumas so that we don't fear that our experience might happen again.
The fear and anxiety that I battled with constantly was because I had gone through a lot of trauma (even though I did not fear that experience would happen at the time) so then I was so traumatised by those experiences that I automatically feared it would reoccur.
So God, in His graciousness has had to walk me gently through those fears by healing me of the memories and the sensations of those experiences so that I would not automatically fear.
So for people who have experienced deep trauma, it is not that easy to just "not fear". We definitely need healing and God's Grace to not fear - a bit like forgiveness. It is sometimes very difficult to forgive someone who has caused deep hurt to us - so we sometimes need God's Grace to do that. We make a choice to forgive and we make a choice not to fear - but sometimes in our deep woundedness it is just not possible to complete that without His Grace.

Praise God for speaking about this … could you pls throw some light on how you were led by the Lord to stop believing that the past trauma would not recur? In my case I don’t know if it’s some particular person who caused the trauma but the fear of it going to happen again is unbearable.. I am not able to enjoy the Lord and all that He has in store for me .. I live each day in constant fear of whatever was happening earlier is going to happen again …. I fast , I pray, listen to good teachings , spend time in the Word - in fact this is the only life I’m leading now - but I am yet to find the joy of the Lord…

@@jesuslovesme7418 Oh I am so sorry that has happened for you. I can absolutely relate to living each day in that constant fear. Well for me personally - I went to the Lord in great anquish and just poured my heart out to Him and told Him that I did not want to live in daily fear all the time. I told Him that I knew and understood very clearly that sometimes in life bad things and storms would come our way and that He would get us through but for me, the thought of ever having to go through a similar storm was just completely unbearable and so I just told Him very honestly that I just never want to go through a similar experience again, even though I had got through the previous storm so I asked him straight out - "what do I do in order to go on with life in peace". And I was amazed at how He spoke to me..He actually gave me a promise straight out of His Word that I would never have to experience a situation like that again. It was in quite a miraculous way that He gave it to me.
And so that scripture has literally sustained me over the last 25 years. I guess it was a Rhema Word for me? Sometimes the devil tries to steal that Rhema Word from me but then God always seems to give it straight back to me again.
The scripture is from Nahum 1 - particularly 1:9 What do you conspire against the Lord? He will make an utter end of it.
Affliction will not rise up a second time and then Nahum 1:15 ...O Judah, keep your appointed feasts,
      Perform your vows. For the wicked one shall no more pass through you;
      He is utterly cut off.
So when I get fearful I actually just read that scripture and remember the way that the Lord gave it to me. Also the name Nahum means comfort and it certainly does bring me comfort when I read it. And apparently the Lord gave that message to Nahum to give to the Israelites back then because they too had been traumatised (by the attack of the Assyrians) and so they too found it very difficult to go on with their lives without the fear of it happening again. So just knowing that too made me realised that God definitely leads us through those traumas and heals us from it. I found healing just by meditating on that scripture as well as other scriptures, including Psalm 91.
I still have my days where I can go back into deep fear, but then I just pull out that scripture and read it and go back to the Lord and ask Him to help me with His Grace to not allow fear to get hold of me again. It has also been a process over the last 25 years of healing of different traumas..I wish it was instantly gone..but I can at least now live my days in mostly peace and have learnt to keep my thoughts focussed on God's goodness and recognise that He is gentle with all of us and will not allow anything to retraumatise us..simply because that is His nature. Some of my traumas happened because of unwise choices I made over the years but others happened to me when I was a child but I try not to question God about WHY they happened because I don't think that would help me to heal so I just try to focus on putting it into the past and focusing on the future with God as my healer and protector now instead - it is hard to do that but I know in order to heal I need to do that.
I pray in Jesus' Name that God will do for you what He has done for me and just know that He is a good and loving Heavenly Father who wants only the very best for you.

Recognize that the “fear” is faith in the evil what it is that you don’t want . When we Chose to stand on FAITH for your future , that Godly things will happen, you are canceling out the opportunity for the bad thing to happen. Start PRAISING God out loud for all the wonderful plans He has for your life! Praise Him for the protection He has for you ! Go over Psalm 91 like Miss Peggy Ruth says in THANKSGIVING that all those things God promises ARE YOURS because you are claiming them by FAITH! It’s gonna work! You CAN trust our loving Father!

I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder/OCD. Through prayer and revelation of the truth in God’s Word- I am able to cope with the unexpected anxiety that suddenly creeps up on me. I pray immediately-
“But I called on your name, Lord, from deep within the pit. You heard me when I cried, “Listen to my pleading! Hear my cry for help!” Yes, you came when I called; you told me, “Do not fear.””

If you are presently living with narcissistic people that are harassing you -And with such people it's guaranteed that they will be abusing you daily, if you are very traumatized from experiences in your life, bullying and you have demons, mind fog Etc. The fear simply comes from that initially...

I am a born again believing Christian and fell into a cycle of anxiety during the beginnings of the pandemic. I finally got help with the online course called Bye Bye Panic with Shaan Kassam. When one falls into a loop like this, it can be that it is due to a “sensitized nervous system.” There are practical explanations for why the nervous system becomes sensitized, and it’s basically the amygdala misfiring and sending adrenaline into the body, triggering the fight or flight mechanism that we all are born with. I love Peggy Joyce Ruth and I follow her teachings, especially centered on Psalm 91. But I want to give this feedback so that any believer in the Lord can know that there are physical reasons for the onslaught of fear as related to a sensitized nervous system, and you can get help for that through a program like Bye Bye Panic. I DO BELIEVE that the Lord led me to this program (BBP) and He ALSO led me to Peggy Joyce Ruth. I’m following Peggy’s teachings because she has the entire TRUTH with scripture, which banishes all falsehood.

God does not create moral sins; it is man’s choice:
A choice is something that can be controlled by free will. So why do most people pretend they cannot help but to intentionally do evil things by saying ‘everyone sins?’ Yes, we all sin-but _how_ we sin is the question. God will stop all the problems in our lives; the things we have no control over such as sinful additions, mental health issues, etc. However, to intentionally choose sin is voluntary by our own free will. Those who choose to do wrong do not want help from God; they choose to disobey Him. Instead, they will live a life of misery only to end up in hell. All those who fight and struggle against sin in their lives will live while those who choose to sin intentionally love death (Proverbs 8:36).

The words of Jesus come from God the Father:
Only to those with God’s Holy Spirit is it given to know the mysteries of God (Mark 4:11-12). In John 2:19, Jesus said “destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Those without God’s spirit believed Jesus was talking about a structure, but he spoke of the temple of his body (John 2:21). Jesus was speaking the very words he heard from God his Father. It was the Father *alone* who raised Jesus from the dead; Jesus did not raise himself by any means (Galatians 1:1). Jesus is God’s prophet, servant, and only _begotten Son_ (Matthew 12:18). God was talking, leading, and guiding Jesus’ words and deeds the entire time. Whatsoever Jesus hears from his Father is what he speaks. Jesus was speaking on behalf of the Father when he said in three days I will raise it [the temple of his body] up (John 12:48-50, John 8:28).
