I actually think tzuyu is fluent in English. She seems to understand what people's are saying very well and can have conversations and knows a wide range of vocab aswell. There may be a few mispronounciations & grammatical errors here and there but lots of native English speakers make those mistakes aswell so who r we to criticise.

tzuyu is getting more confident in english now, look at her instagram caption.. not to mention she didn't ignore english comments when doing vlive.. and if you notice whenever they need to speak english for promotion it is mostly her and mina who spoke.. baby is a multilingual queen 🥺❤️

I think almost all of the members can now speak English very well all they need is the confidence to use it at a conversational level. We all went through that phase when we learn a new language and Twice is doing well~

Mina is very fluent, she just don’t like it when she’s being put on the spot. You can clearly hear her speaking english very confidently in other videos. If she wasn’t being forced (or you know, when no one has put the responsibility of speaking english on to her) or if the camera wasn’t focused on her. I think she just feels a little bit pressured to speak english sometimes.

Objectively speaking, only Mina has the fluency of a native speaker, while NaTzu seems to have learnt enough to speak decently well. The others seem capable of understanding people speaking English to them, and memorising English lyrics and scripts, but at best they seem to only speak enough English to get around foreign countries as tourists.
