Oh no!! I think if it’s a CLEAR planner I would use acetate to try to clean in. If it’s a leather planner I would use a special leather soap. I’m sure if you search “Moterm stain” you’d find someone who knows what to do. I know someone painted her planner and it turned out great so you have options. Such a pretty set up! Can you talk about your laminated pages in a bit more detail? How do you decide what activities to put on them? I can’t quite make out what the tasks are in the video….is it a schedule or a to do list type of thing? Thank you for sharing your layout! I appreciate how creative you are. 💕

I am a stay at home mom of two young, disabled children- so much of my answer will be related to their care. I don’t share specifics because I’m trying to protect their privacy as much as possible while still perusing my passion. I hope you understand. Weekly we have repeating appointments and responsibilities. These are things that happen every day, or on specific days each week. So for example, school drop off and pick up will happen at the same time every weekday. We also have appointments that happen every week on the same day/time. Other families have extra curricular activities- like story time. These things I put on my weekly schedule and laminate it. Usually our weekly schedule doesn’t change and if it does I make a new schedule and laminate it. For daily tasks I have 3 “levels” I think about. 1) What MUST happen for our health and wellness? 2) What would make our lives run more smoothly and feel more relaxed and enjoyable? 3) If everything is going well and I have extra time (haha) what’s the FIRST set of tasks I’d like to focus on? So “take medicine” is a 1, “do the dishes” is a 2, and “declutter” is a 3. So I start with a list of EVERYTHING I would accomplish in a day with infinite time and resources. I write down everything- including getting dressed and ready for the day. Then I take some time to prune the list- What is actually a project that has smaller tasks? What can I delegate or get rid of all together? What is a pipe dream that I don’t actually care about accomplishing for myself but feel social pressure to do? When my daily task list looks and feels as tight as it can be, I put it all in order by time of day. When I wake up I: get dressed, take medicine, stretch…. Etc. Then I add dots on the left that show me generally if tasks should be done in morning, noon, afternoon or evening. I don’t use my daily list every day, but it REALLY helps on days when I’m at home and have that “I don’t know where to start” feeling. I hope this helps! They’re by far the cheapest - plus it’s nice to be able to change the cover image and decorate in any style. The Moterm A9 is so soft and luxurious feeling. I also love the way they smell and the large back pocket. I wouldn’t bother with the faux leather ones from AliExpress because the rings weren’t as strong and the pockets weren’t as nice. If you want a company that’s based in the US you can check out instagram.com/studioabsent but they don’t have pockets in their “TOFU” A9.
