Thanks for showing this approach. Something about this seems interesting in that the bypass setting is focusing on a specific object. Wouldn’t a better approach be to use a “Hierarchy Custom Setting” to give specific users or profiles the ability to bypass all validation rules temporarily? I suppose this approach is good for when you want people to bypass some rules but not others.

Befor processing step
It does work, but the users have to refresh the page, until they do, they can update whatever they want without triggering the validation :(
