As someone who has buried a child, I can tell you that it changes your life and how you feel about your loved ones. Even if you don't agree with Biden politically, I believe the empathy he shows to everyone is very real.
That time when his 1st wife and daughter died during an accident made a huge impact on his life. Also, when one of his sons died due to a disease, it made him realize to cherish everyone he loves. Life is too short not to show affection, care and love to those u love.

Jenna was very kind and it felt so nice. I also love how the Bidens have named their kids in honor of each other. Beau named his son Robert Hunter Biden II in honor of Hunter and now Hunter has named his son Beau in his honor. Naomi is also named after Joe's deceased daughter.

When Biden was just a Vice President, he came to watch his granddaughter's ballet performance. But it was just a 'bit' role for the corps. My brother in law who was the artistic director was so touched by his dedication as a grandfather he created more moves for the corps to make sure that Biden was rewarded for his encouragement and presence.
