- Spider takes a break from getting a tattoo at Electric Chair Tattoo in Flint, MI before their show at the Machine Shop to talk to me, Stephanie Roose. We talk about his last album, Somewhere on the Other Side of Nowhere, if he only had 24 hrs to live, cool fans in Japan, "everything matters" & more :)

To anyone going to one of his shows or whatever, Spider is a total sweetheart (as you can see) and really friendly. He's right that most bands forget to appreciate their fans, but when the shows over and you can talk to him? Pfft he's so normal and awesome. Don't sweat it, just go say hi to him :D
These kind of interviews are my favorite. He's such a down-to-earth guy :)
Man he is so down to earth! It's kinda weird how almost all of the bands that I like turn out to be down to earth and really cool people despite how weird they can be hahaha x)
I remember meeting him and his band when "somewhere on the other side of nowhere" came out. I just turned 21 and his show that night on va beach was cancelled for whatever reason. Gils sports bar offered PM5K. Gil spread the word and within 1 hr the place was packed. I heard nothing but praise from them and they actually took an hour or so signing everything for free, taking pictures, doing live karaoke with fans singing with him on stage. Doing his dance to "super villain". Got to play on the drums to "do your thing". Best last minute concert ever. He even brought a round of drinks for me and my gf at the time.
Spider it is a talented musician.
Really good interview, good questions...like the other commenter said, totally down to earth guy...great glimpse into who he really is. (Your welcome Spider! :) -a fan)
Great interview! I liked the variety of questions you asked.
Este hombre es irresistible
Shout out from Saginaw Michigan. Haven't been to the Machine Shop yet but hope to soon.
Nice interview.
Thanx for sharing.
i saw them last night in bakersfield! the show was soo awesome, they played every good song from their last 5 albums. i wish i could meet him in person and tell him how thankful i am for them still playing music and how far they come. it saddens me how i can ask people around me if they ever heard of PM5k. and no one has ever heard of them. I appreciate all their hard work and effort. I cant wait to see you guys again very soon!
He has kids? o_O
Also, great questions, great to get away from the cliche stuff.

Thank you Stephanie Roose for some interesting info about Spider One and Powerman 5000
I find it a bit ironic that the guy who walks by at 5:43 is wearing a shirt for "Halloween", a movie that Mike's brother, Rob Zombie, made.
yeah it a pain looking for cd in stores what i am looking for there so many good one, but i like some stores that i can listen first then buy, but down load and youtube been the best to listen to music and watch
he doesnt look old
white zombie boogie man brought me here Dr . spooky I think was sliders name in the video
I like PM5K better that WZ (Rob Zombie)
everything mattered depends on path diraction in life take and takes all kind of paths
Man Spider is such a up front dude. Now I thought the shirt was cool.

Good thing I wasn't there, otherwise you would've had to shoot him from the chest up.
so how was the show?
@Hienka99 he doesn't look that old.
how old is he?
It's spelled "Spyder"...
@Bokem44 rockstars always look young
Do people ever ask him about his relationship with his older brother?
