If you don't like the logic,then lemme tell you about your opinion. If being non veg is like living as a murderer then you won't servive for long. Their is a lot of people who eat human flesh. Why don't you say this thing to them? Because carniovore animal don't eat their own species. Even non veg people don't eat every meats. As Muslim, we do eat non veg but we don't eat everything. Even if we eat meat it should be halal and also slaughter with the name of Allah. In non Muslim countries, Muslim only eat non veg to Halal restaurant. Muslim don't eat porks. It's haram.
One question, if you stuck to an Islnd or a mountain as you have mentioned, then what will you eat? You have to hunt in order to servive. It's not my word. It's the word of experts.
What about predator animals? Are they murderer to you? They hunt to servive. Looks like Tiger, Lion, Wolf and Hayena all of them are murderer.

1) 50% of habitable land is used for agriculture and 37% is forest. Out of 50 this about 40% is for meat and diary and 10% for grains, fruits etc.
2) 82% world's calorie come from plant based food 18% from meat and diary. 63% world's protein from plants and 37% from animals.
3) with increasing demand of meat more and more forest are cut for agricultural lands. Out of 28000 species on verge of extinction 24000 directly from agricultural activities.
4) 70% of world's drinkable water is used in agriculture. Meat eaters consume 5000 ltr water compared to 1000-2000 from vegetarians. 1kg meat requires around 3-10 kg grains or human edibles and around 10000-20000 ltr water. According to niti ayog 40% of our population won't be having access to drinking water by 2030.
5) not only deforestation is causing global warming but non vegetarians produce 2.5 times more co2 than vegetarians. And there are around 92% non vegetarians in world. Non vegetarians produce more kids so to provide them electricity which causes around 62% of co2 emission.. Combine it with home vechile roads cooking gases etc. It becomes 76%.
6) Vegetarians live 10-20 years more than non Vegetarians. And they live more happy and healthy. Majority of criminals are non vegetarians because they take in animal genes of bitting scratching rape etc.
7) compared to non veg protein the plant based mixed with lentils tofu chickpeas milk fruits etc we get more protein and nutrients it is more cheap and we can have it daily compared to non veg.
8) Herbivores do have canine teeth's like hippos, horses donkeys etc. It is no proof that we are carnivores. On the contrary carnivores gulp down raw meat they don't chew their food or cook it. We can eat raw fruits and veggies. But not raw meat. Thus we are herbivores.
9) leading cause of death worldwide is from heart disease, chronic diseases or cancer and the risk is significantly lower in vegetarians.
10) about balance we demand meat so they are over produced injected tortured raised in captivity so they emit lot of negative waves which negatively affects the world.
11) New researchs reveal that healthy vegetarian eater kids attain more hieght and health than their counterparts.
