Being chronically ill myself, I can really resonate with the listener. These are the word I'd want to hear too.
You have a disability which makes tasks that seem basic to others difficult for you. Nonetheless, you push yourself in order to help your [partner/boyfriend/girlfriend]. After all, since you’re living together, you need to do your part to make this house a home. Still, you can’t help but feel some shame for not being able to do as much as others. So much so that at times you wonder if [they/he/she] would be better off with someone else…And tonight, those feelings are going to spill out.
